The only reasonable choice for GOAT passing C.

Good to see him get his due because I too was surprised by how few votes were for him, I'm guessing a lot of people haven't seen him play.

Nah people just like flashy passes and underrate Walton's ability to be a passing hub because he wasn't throwing no looks.

Funny that, huh? That's why I always get a chuckle when GOAT turns out to be someone playing currently or recently.
Reminds me of one of my friends who started watching his old school's girls bb team and declared the star players were the best players in the city's history. I asked him how many girl players he had seen before he started watching his school''s girls play. None, he answered.
Jokic and Sabonis certainly are tremendous passers, but many of the people voting for them undoubtedly have never seen earlier players.

I wont be shocked if by the end of this year Jokic and AD create a gap between themselves and the rest of the bigs in the NBA. Jokic may end up being the most complete offensive big of all time when all is said and done. What can he not do at a very high level on the offensive end? He is pretty much elite in every aspect on that side of the ball except for volume from 3.

Tom Boerwinkle?
Alvan Adams?
Wes Unseld?

Jokic is one inch taller than Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. Does that mean we can compare him to them?

Wilt Chamberlain is the only center in NBA to lead the league in assists (702 in 1966-67 when the leader was determined by the total number of assists rather than the average number.)

U forgetting about embiid?

U do realize when both AD and Jokic play against embiid. Jokic just can’t defend embiid. Embiid basically controls both of them. AD’s offensive game vs Embiid defense is a matchup nightmare for AD. Watch the two games they played.

He was really, really big.

He could really, really pass.

That's the topic of this thread isn't it?

I'd take AD and Jokic over Embiid.

I guess if you only care about offensive. But embiid has been pretty darn good on offense this year already.

But while Draymond Green May feel defense is over rated this year. They do play defense in the nba. Especially in playoff time. So sure go ahead and take Jokic.

AD is ahead of embiid right now. But embiid is gaining ground very quickly. He can surprise AD by the end of the year.

Who cares about 1 vs 1? Jokic doesn't need to be able to guard Embiid in order to be a better player.

Embiid could be better than Jokic this year, but your point seems pretty poor - you're going off of a head to head match up from a 1-2 game sample size?

I'm not only talking about offense. I'm talking about overall impact. Jokic has had a better BPM/VORP/RPM the last two years. Just cause he doesn't get a lot of blocked shots doesn't mean he's a bad defender. I think Jokic makes the bigger impact.

Hard to say. I'd like to see what Walton and Wilt could do under today's rules.
