Marmol, Howry, and Dempster are all mixing for closer.

Marmol should be #1 option.

Wood, Dumpster, Howry, and now Eyre have been pretty "decent" and hopefully they do well in the 7th and 8th innings for now on.

Multiple closers means no closer. This has never worked out for any team. Just name Marmol the closer and be done with it.

im w/ you. mormol has got the stuff. i will feel more comfortable w/ mormol in the 9th than howry. and dempster? just awful. the guy cant even relief. he has no business being a closer.

Maybe Dempster would be better in long relief? :dontknow: There is not as much pressure and he doesn't have to throw as much as a normal starting pitcher.

You might have something here... a good way to build up to that starter role for next year.
