The Hawks blew these dudes out by 22 points. If the Nets don't go in here and handle business I will be furious.

I can take an ass kicking from a playoff team. I'll be damned if we get whipped by a team that isn't one.

was it the Billy king? or the Harris vs Love "key" matchup pic? I didn't know who else to put other than Joe, since the Nets don't have a PF.

Hopefully we used the extra days rest to work on reducing turnovers and rebounding better.

Not holding my breath... though having RHJ back should help lots.

What I want to see more than anything this year is for us to win the games we're supposed to win.

Detroit, we should've won... NYK we took care of business... Indy, we got smacked and rightfully so.

We should win in Cleveland. Excited to watch this one tomorrow night! Hope to see Rondae get some decent minutes too and what kind of impact he's going to have.

Oh my god yes STOP THE INSANE TURNOVER RATE PLEASE! That's been an unbearable part of this year so far.

I've also been a huge DLo guy, but this is it for me. He's healthy, had a year experience here, put some major work in this summer... I want to see results now. Lead, score, protect the ball.

Jarret Allen also needs to fix his turnovers. He is almost averaging 2.7 per game which is way too high.

Too many times he panics and throws the ball away. Sometimes he makes a bad pass that leads to a turnover too.

Allen, Russell, LeVert, Dinwiddie, and Harris are turning the ball over at an obscene rate.

There are no easy games for us. Looking at our schedule, this is one of those "winnable" games so I hope the guys come out ready to get it done. Having RHJ back and adding Napier should give us a nice boost. Kenny said expect weird lineups.. curious to see the new rotation.

Russ/Caris/Crabbe/RHJ/Allen starting and Napier/Dinwiddie/Harris/Dudley/Davis off the bench would be my guess. Once Rodi is healthy, he takes Dudley's place of the bench as RHJ backup.

A loss tonight would be demoralizing.........If we get off to a bad start in the second half Kenny has to make adjustments.

Brace yourselves...

”With Rondae and Shabazz back, we’re going to throw in some line-ups no one’s seen before, not even myself,” he joked. “We’re going to have to feel that and work it out as guys come back from injury – that will be another thing to keep an eye on.”

Atkinson adds that we should not expect a ton of minutes for Napier out of the gate when he takes the floor against LeBron-less Cleveland.

“First, get him some minutes, get him some rhythm,” Atkinson says of what he wants to establish with Napier now in the fold. “He looked good in practice yesterday so that’s a good sign. Don’t expect big minutes from him but we’ll build him up. I think he’ll be that spark plug. I think he gives us something defensively. He creates turnovers, he’s a ball pressure guy, he gets into guys, he’s fast, and offensively he can give you a punch. He can come off (the bench) and give you 10 points in 10 minutes.”

trae young is better then anyone on the nets... Cavs dont have lebron but they arent a horrible bottom 3 team. and we are on the road. we will need to bring it to win. they also have alot of size inside

there is no team in the NBA we "should" beat when we are on the road. Levert looks great, allen looks great... we have a but more depth... but there is no team they we are significantly more talent then... including the hawks.

their roster has some young talent and 2 way guys...

Trae Young, John Collins, Taurean Prince is no worse then Levert, Allen, RHJ

their role guys and depth are similar... Bazemore, Dedmon,Len, Bembry, Hueter, etc...

they have some vets too... Vince, Lin

Trae young is probably going to be better then anyone on the nets this year. kid can ball

what makes you say we "should" be the cavs on the road? or the pistons on the road?

If we lose this will be the game that either snaps people back to reality from early season over-optomism and playoff dreams or has them completely kill kenny atkinson for not leading us to wins because they have unrealistic expectations

im calling this the scapegoat game... its gonna be Kenny or Dlo

Return to Brooklyn Nets
