Markelle Fultz for Josh Jackson

Suns need a point guard . Frees up mins for Mikal. Now everybody has clear defined roles with Warren scoring 6th man. Ariza, Mikal 3 and D. Booker scoring two.

Philly gets a point forward to pair with their core of Simmons and Embiid.

I'd think at this moment in time, Isaac is more valuable than Markelle.

Maybe. Neither one has really shown anything. I'd be willing to add a protected 1st, although there's no way Elton would agree to that.

Jackson wouldn't work with Simmons. If you wanted to do Fultz for Bridges, that could make some sense.

Portland seems to have zero organizational excitement for Caleb Swanigan. I'm not super high on him either because he's an absolute defensive zero with major conditioning red flags.

That said, his shooting ability, passing, and rebounding are all really good he seems like a high IQ player. I wonder if it would be worth our while to swap Bolden for Swanigan.

Swanigan may be an upgrade on Bolden, but we'd never know because Brett wouldn't play him.

Bolden and Shamet should be in the g-league to get experience and more strength. Looks like both might get more playing time with injuries.

Markelle Fultz, Jerryd Bayless, Dimitrius Jackson (contract converted to veterans min non-guaranteed) and 2021 Miami pick

For

Josh Richardson and Kelly Olynyk

Miami gets their future pick back and saves 3-6 million in luxury tax and gets PG of the future.

76ers get perfect SG fit next to Simmons and usable backup Center with a movable contract. Allows 76ers to keep a Max salary spot if they renounce all players in last year of their deals.

In a heartbeat. That trade would bolster our depth in a major way and dramatically improve our starting line-up, defensively. Boston does not want Jonathan Isaac in a Sixers uniform playing on the wings with Simmons and Covington in front of Embiid on the back end.

Not Shamet. He should be splitting time with Redick at the 2. The Fultz experiment is mucking that up for now.

Elton needs to find a way to recoup some value for Fultz.

And while realizing this is just another development year... it still would sure be nice to upgrade Muscala and Chandler right now to try and make the ECF's while developing.

ORL fans are against that deal. And I don't know how much I'd want to sweeten it.

PHX fans are good with Bender, Daniels, and the MIL 1st for Fultz?

I wouldn't sweeten the Orlando deal. There's nothing that we can do on our end if they're overvaluing Isaac on their end.

That Phoenix trade is an automatic yes, as well. And I'm just mainly in it for the 1st round pick and 1 year of fringe rotation play from Daniels. Fultz is just a bad investment I'm looking to get out of.

Of course I'd do that in a second. I thought that was the perfect trade before the season, but after watching Phoenix play with Booker as the PG, I don't think that option is available anymore. I think the Suns could be satisfied with Booker at PG.

I'm not doing any major trades until the offseason at this point. We are still in position to sign a major FA and trade for another one.

Making an early trade is how you get rid of bad players before everyone knows they're bad and how you get good players from bad organizations before they know they're good.

It will be hard to trade for a max guy and sign another one. We look to have around 40 million in FA next year. Assuming we sign a max 36 million ish guy that leaves 4-5 million to sign another guy or space to absorb the trade plus the 20 percent rule.

It makes it much easier if the order is reversed. It will be cheaper/easier to do a sign and trade.

It will be interesting to see if Elton has the balls to trade Fultz and actually get value for him (unlike BC). Even if Fultz pans out, its becoming clear that he doesn’t maximize the skillsets of Simmons and Embiid.

Hinkie was able to extract max value from MCW. BC fumbled the Okafor and Noel trades. Lets see how Brand does.

Just an FYI. Fultz for Bridges would be a no go.

Bridges and Bender, maybe, depending on what else is necessary.

The fear is that Fultz is broken beyond repair, so the price has to be worth the risk. Honestly, we would probably prefer just to work out something for TJ McConnell.

I'd do Fultz for Bridges straight up if their salaries matched. I have no problem taking filler back.

I'm confused. Bridges straight up is a no, but Bridges with Bender is a maybe?
