I hate to break it to you Bostonites/Bostoneers/Bostones... The Celtics aren't winning again until the Red Sox finish off the Dodgers. Thems the rulez. Then the Cs go on a 60-plus-game win streak to snatch top seed.

This Red Sox team is confident. Of all team sports, baseball thrives in that type of environment. Alex Cora is their MVP.

Absolutely stunning turn of events. Who could really have seen Price be dominant and the bullpen lightsout. Unreal really!

Not you, obviously.

I know I'm basically a front runner to come out and say this now, but I've always thought that David Price's postseason issues were a bit exaggerated. Pitching is pitching and it's not like he had never had a good outing in the playoffs or in intense environments - if he can do it at some point he will do it. He's the same age Pedro was when Pedro won his first ring. Pedro also had his ups and downs in the postseason (ignoring that he was dominant in '99).

Personally, I've gotta give our front office credit regarding Stephen Pearce, Eovaldi, and to a lesser extent Eduardo Nunez. These guys all come off as lackluster-ish journey men on paper, but they've been coming up clutch.
