Sorry to break up this real estate circle jerk but are we going to talk about how Trumps rhetoric is going to kill more people? People that believe in conspiracy theories like STD are sending pipe bombs to George SOros, Hillary, Obama, Holder, CNN and Maxine Waters. Is anyone on the right going to place the blame where it belongs?

So we just ignore the baseball shooting as this is convenient today? Call me odd but not a single bomb went off of 6? 2 weeks prior to an election? And one to CNN?

Just happy no one was hurt.

i generally don't hate on real estate investments but there's something about the perversion of the market in this thread that grinds my gears.
The other sided that is grating is that much of it is created by the tax code. Cut all of the deductions on real estate except single family ownership and it would take care of most of the problems.
Get rid of the deductions for interest, depreciation for rental property, safe harbors, pass-through deductions and home office deductions.
After that, most of it will take care of itself.
I remember reading something to the effect that many many congress-critters (probably more GOP than DEM)
are huge recipients of the pass through rule changes becoming more generous in the 'reform' of last December.
Also, DJT is believed by many to have hugely benefited from this. But admittedly, the voters have been
deliberately left in the dark about this.

I’d call it experience and wisdom (and a 3rd world upbringing). This stuff is only new for the US.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

The fact that you come from a 3rd world country is irrelevant. It’s actually a pretty stupid take to believe that this is somehow a conspiracy by the Democrats. It’s not a rush to judgement when Trump encourages violence and people have already died because of his rhetoric. It’s using your brain

And for anyone question whether Faith Goldy is a white supremacist here’s your overwhelming evidence:

Faith Goldy got booted off rebel media. Which is the Canadian equivalent of getting kicked off Breitbart for being too racist

I read that whole article and didn't see one quote that would be remotely characterized as "white supremacist". She got fired for guilt by association, not for anything she actually said.

It happens just before the election at a time when the polls were turning in Republican's favor.
There were 8 pipe bombs. None of them worked. All were easily identifiable and included obvious wires sticking out of them which any bomb expert will tell you is totally unnecessary in today's day an age of microchips. I have yet to hear anyone confirm that any of these devices were actually functional or contained actual explosives. All were sent to people who have a mail inspection system in place.
We'll have to wait and see what the forensics experts find out. Anything is possible. But one must ask oneself, who benefits from this?

YahooFormer White House Lawyer Ty Cobb Says Mueller Probe Isn't 'A Witch Hunt'
Former White House lawyer Ty Cobb on Monday said he doesn’t buy President Donald Trump’s claim that the ongoing special counsel investigation is a “witch hunt.”
Trump and his allies have repeatedly called the investigation a “witch hunt” and denied that there was collusion. The president has on a number of occasions floated the idea of firing Mueller.
Cobb, who stepped down from his post as White House lawyer in May, told host Gloria Borger at CNN’s CITIZEN Conference in New York on Monday that he rejects the president’s analysis of the probe. He also praised Mueller, who he said he has “respected” for decades.
“Bob Mueller is an American hero in my view,” Cobb said during a panel with Jack Quinn, who served as White House lawyer under former President Bill Clinton.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), one of Trump’s staunchest allies in the Senate, has also rejected labeling the Mueller probe a “witch hunt.”
“I do believe that Mr. Mueller will be fair; I don’t believe this is a witch hunt,” Graham told reporters in August.
Graham added that Mueller “should be able to do his job” without interference.

I will say this - I have no idea who did this and I'm going to wait and see. These kinds of actions are often done by people for unpredictable reasons. For all I know the person is neither really Republican nor Democrat but wants to appear as such. I'm going to wait and see what actually comes of this before jumping to any conclusions.

Can you cite any aggregate polling data supporting this? Polls have shown the Dems taking the House and Republicans keeping the senate, and this hasn't really changed in recent memory.

Of course, man. It was a leftist #FalseFlag operation - that is obviously the most likely scenario here because Ann Coulter said so.

Steve Scalise was shot like 18 months ago. Why would we be talking about that now?

Exactly, whoever did - regardless of political views - is a sick f. And I'm sure all (not both) sides have more than their share of them. What's very disturbing and disgusting is the President jumping on this as an opportunity to blame the media. No President has done more to stir up internal strife since the Civil War since Trump, and he has the gall to blame the media.

You mean how Trump defrauded the American taxpayers out of MILLIONS of dollars? Or do you mean how his dad left him 400+ million and he isn't the self-made real estate developer that he says?
I don't know - I think I will revisit that one from time to time.
We have a serial lying fraud in the oval office. Ouch!

The MAGA cultmembers on social media are so pathetic.
The bomber is a MAGA guy -- so what. That doesn't mean he represents all of Trump supporters. Stop being butthurt.
