Your Yahoo! Magic RealGM A League Season is fully LIVE!

All teams have been inputted! If there was any errors, please let me know, but I'd be confident enough to say that I didn't make any mistakes (probably).

The initial waiver wire priority has been inputted! This was decided as under the new, exciting rules changes!.. AKA, by the number of draft posts you made with a pic or video! The tie-breakers were then done by random dice roll.
Initial Waiver Priority:
HoraceGrant #1
BAMBA5 #2
BMP #3
HoopsLife #4
Fendilim #5
B&W #6
Edrock #7
TBbuc #8
URA #9
Stick #10
MF4L #11
dsg #12

The season is fully live, so you can now set lineups, add/drop players, and trade players, and everything else possible. However, to give everyone a fair amount of time to add a new player from FA, all FA's will initially be on the Waiver Wire. You can add new players now, but you must wait the Waiver period and then see if your Waiver Wire priority was high enough to grab them. Or you can wait out the FA's all finishing the Waiver process and turning into standard FA's.

All teams have had their lineups set in a BASIC manner for Week 1 only. This does NOT rotate your Bench players in and out for Week 1, however. This step was simply done to help inactive or busy team managers from missing out on setting up their lineups for Week 1.

The Magic RealGM League History has been added to our League! You can now see the Top 3 Finishes from the past 14 seasons! Very cool stuff to see.

Look in the league settings for all the rules and minutiae of what's what and when does something happen. One added minor change was trades must now be reviewed by League Votes for 3 days instead of 2 days. Inactive votes basically count as yes, and if I recall correctly, it takes around 4-5 No Votes to reject a trade seen as unfair. The Trade Deadline for our fantasy season is February 28th.

Awesome! But, I see no players on teams yet. I think yo have to "Your league's Offline Draft, your commissioner must enter your offline draft results and hit the 'Begin Season' button in order for your league to begin play."

Try changing to a different RealGM A League as there are two or three different ones these days

Bold Fantasy Season predictions... GO!

Ayton will NOT be able to keep up the pace he had in the preseason...
Despite the balance, at least 3 Celtics will return top 50 value
Moving into 1st round value - Embiid
Dropping out of 1st round value - LeBron

Got a couple or so trade offers on the table right now, so we might have our first in-season trade too!

Ben Simmons for 1st round value,
Jonathan Isaac improves so much that he jumps up a few rounds in value,
Giannis improves his FT% and takes over the #1 pre-draft spot next year,
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Miles Bridges surprise quite a bit

Really cool to see so much waiver wire activity already! Is anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed by the number of good FA options?! I’m not used to this from our 14/16 team leagues, haha

I've got a question about the league settings. Last night I tried to drop George Hill to pick up Reggie Bullock but it wouldn't let me because George Hill had already played. Now I did it this morning, and I have Reggie Bullock on my roster immediately (for tonight's game). That's not how it normally is, is it? It used to always be if you did an add/drop, it took effect for the next day. Not the same day.

It's still the same limit of 4 Adds per week, but now it's been changed to happen today instead of tomorrow. It gives you a little more breathing room when a game-day injury happens. Or when you generally just want to act faster in adding someone to your team, and get them immediately. This was mentioned in the discussion thread OP, and then again at the end of the draft within the discussion thread. If you end up being a heavy add/drop manager, you'll still need to manage doing only 4 a week like every other year tho.

Ok cool! I just missed that in the thread. Not a bad thing, just different from years past.

Things I learned in Week 2:
  • There are IR spots (Thanks dsg!)
  • Roster changes can be made the day of, and are effective immediately. (Learned this in my other league. Moved a guy to my bench at 9:29 who had a 9:30 game to protect my TO lead)
