They should but won't because of money. My suggestion would be to do away with 2 preseason games go to a 17 game schedule where every team plays 1 nuetral site game a year (mostly your foreign games). Each team gets 2 byes so it's an 19 week schedule. Have all teams playing Thursday night games coming off a bye so no short weeks. Because you wouldnt want teams on a bye the first two or three weeks just do the opener on Thursday then skip a couple weeks and restart Thursday after that 1st bye week. Solves a bunch of issues.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I really don't see the downside. I would still probably watch a little football on bye weeks, NFL doesn't lose any games, Players get more rest, season is basically same length.

Breeland is ready to play. You got the following guys at CB:

Tramon
King
Jaire
Josh Jackson
Breeland
Brown

Would you move one of them next to HaHa?

I hope Breeland can contribute. I'd love to see Williams phased out over the second half of the season.

They must really see some potential in Brown if they didnt release him.

I actually thought he looked good besides those two dumb penalties. The taunting penalty was weak

The unnecessary roughness could've easily cost us the last game though

I don't know how that got past the schedule makers eye test and I have no idea why Murphy didn't make a huge deal about it when he saw it.

You're asking a team to play half their road games in less than a month, make two trips to the West Coast that aren't back to back so they can't even stay there for the week and just travel there once. You have another trip to the East Coast and you have a Thursday game put in there for good measure too.

Does Murphy make a big deal over anything?

He had a gm running the team that probably had a mini stroke and could barely talk properly. Dude had some serious health problems and Murphy sat on that for a couple years.

Murphy sucks. He does nothing. He thought he had the easiest job in the world.

I got TT, I got MM, and the best qb in the universe and a newly renovated stadium, no need to do much than other than wave at the crowd and shake hands at owner meetings.
