Ill never feel bad for a number 2 pick in the draft that makes millions. I feel bad about his jumper, but thats it

I wouldn’t mind him in the starting lineup over Marv personally. But I said that going into the season. Both MKG and Batum can play PF.

I think eventually our best lineup is with MKG/WHG, once Willy hits 3's more consistently, or Batum/MKG, at the 4 and 5.

Its hard to play MKG/Zeller together since they both don't want to shoot jumpers, although Zeller has let it fly a few times (but not nearly enough)

even though MKG is coming off the bench, it feels like he's more involved in the team this year.

no shame corner and being asked to do a lot of heavy lifting on defence.

Start him at PF. Marv is as REPLACEABLE as REPLACEABLE gets yet he’s been our starting PF for the last 4 years of mediocrity.

I'm so ready for Marvin to go, he's just taking minutes that should be going to MKG and Bridges.

Marv has a role but he shouldn’t be seeing over 20 minutes a night unless he’s on fire early. MKG and Bridges should be seeing the bulk of the minutes at PF and backup SF.

Marvin played only 17 minutes. He's on the chopping block with Frank and Hernangomez.

Replace Marv with MKG in the starting lineup and replace Hernangomez with Biz as the backup PF. Let Bridges get all if not most of the minutes interchangeably at backup SF and PF.

Even under Clifford our starting lineup never really had an issue with being a positive net team. It was always Clifford’s rigid rotations and stubborn dependency on bad players that held us back more than anything.

I'll be honest - I expected that Biz / MKG combo to be a train wreck when I saw Biz come in, but was extremely pleasantly surprised. Very curious to see if we see that again.

I'm fine with that if the plan is to transition Miles to the starting lineup. He's a superior talent. But Braggins is right. I like MKG this year. JB and staff are really coaching him up. He was a #2 pick for godsakes so they were determined to unlock some talent. I think they're doing great playing to his skillset. He's also maturing by recognizing his strengths and accepting his limitations on the perimeter.

I now think MKG is a net positive trade asset, not a negative one. Kupchak can move the contract for an expiring I believe. But he won't and shouldn't. It's Marvin who must go. Kupchak has the luxury of MKG and Miles Bridges. We're talking young fresh legs who light up the floor with flashes of electricity vs. an old dude who can't hit wide open threes anymore. Marvin does good things but his contract must be moved. He's not worth keeping. I think the team performance would improve if JB scaled down Marvin's minutes and boosted minutes for MKG and Miles.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't MKG have a player option for next season? If he ends up having a decent season does he opt out and would we want him to or exercise his option? Its been a foregone conclusion he would exercise the player option prior to this season but he's definitely playing better.

Would you stuff your balls back in your pants if I added a qualifier? MKG's contract has slightly positive value. Slightly.
