The Nuggets have had some nice combinations of forwards over the years, but I'm not sure we've ever had two that would be fairly decent against LeBron - until now. Of course no one player is going to shut him down but Craig & Millsap both seem like they can do a decent job of limiting him.

I'm curious as to which Malone will start on LeBron. Millsap seems most likely IMO.

Second of B2B for the Lakers, hope LBJ's age is showing . We should be able to win this, familiarity could either help or hurts us, unknown which. Murray is public enemy #1 in LA Land so I expect him to play role up. I see this as a close win for the Nuggets

We played two games last season vs Cleveland, both in the March when Millsap is back and Kevin Love was injured, so LBJ was PF at the time (covered by Millsap) and achieve 25-10-15 and 39-8-10 monster games. Our winning formula should not be to stop James but control all others Lakers players. Ingram and Rondo are suspended, so crucial are probably to stop Kuzma which has one great 26-13 game vs Nuggets last season in one of our most painful loses. Role players on which we should take special focus are JaVale McGee and Josh Hart, and would be very helpful if Murray outplays Lonzo Ball. Our biggest advantage should be the fact that Lakers team is still not adjusted well, they need some time for that, and so far they show worst defense in the league, and our elite offense should take full advantage from that.

Milsap looks nothing like he used to when he was on Atlanta as far as his offense.

He may still be able to defend but he’s not getting paid tens of millions just to defend.

Then maybe he shouldn’t even be out there.

And definitely don’t give him touches to try to go one on one as they did a couple of times while the Lakers were pulling away.

Of course Malone continues to start Craig. The dude does nothing offensively, Lakers weren't even defending him. All Malone did was shrink the floor for our best players.

What a terrible 2nd half of 4th quarter in LA. In just 3 minutes we waste +8 lead into -5 after Lakers 15-2 run, and in the last 3 minutes of the game Jokic was just terrible, so we didn't take chance to be back again into the game.

Bitter taste to see that career-best performance of Morris is not finished with a big win. No big deal is losing vs playoff-level opponent on the road, but I'm really sad because I think if Denver won this game, Nuggets have very nice chances to broke franchise best ever 8-0 start of the season from 1976-77.

Before the game, I say we don't need to stop LBJ to win this game, just Kuzma or role players. But Kuzma gives over 20 points and role players killed us tonight, with Mcgee 20+ (career high?) and Stephenson scoring key straight 8 points in the middle of the 4th quarter.

Jokic has just 3 assists (0 at the halftime), and despite Morris played so well as point guard, I don't like that type of our game even when we lead at the end of the 3rd and Jokic has at the time nice 24-10-2 numbers. We should never skip Jokic-centric offense.

Apart of Monte Morris, nice is to see Murray doing well in the offensive end today, with career 3rd double-double.

It seems there was too much one-on-one play in this game. At least that's what I saw.

I was actually afraid of this game, but lets hope they will get back better in next few games and surprise us as they did in that GSW game

Meh thought we've improved but this was just really disappointing. There really isn't excuse tonight, the Lakers will be one of the easier teams we'll play all season.

Did anyone else notice Reggie Miller, Shaq, and Charles did not even know what country Jokic was from?
Did anyone else notice Reggie Miller's comment about the Nuggets going with a "small backcourt" when it was Murray & Morris? Since Harris, Beasley, Murray, and Morris are all within an inch or so of each other, that's rather a silly statement.

Just shows the lack of respect we are still getting.

This might be my first post this season! Last night was the most miserable I've felt all of 2018!

Yup, I get it. Should've been a win and we lost too many of those last year. Let's hope it was a wake-up call that actually will have a long-term effect.

Well its not as if we played against Cavs... They are still not great but are better than atleast 14 teams that wont get into Playoffs.. But lets hope this is wakeup call before NOP and UTA games

No it won't , we'll be better by the next game (Nov.27th) . Nuggets easier games will be in eastern conference. Teams coming into Staples better be ready to play...no easy games in LA anymore.

Biggest takeaway for me is JaVale McGee scoring 21pts, where did that come from ??
