Idk how THJR can watch game film of himself chucking up shots like he's LaMelo in Lithuania and continue to do it over again game after game.

Budenholzer would've sent this man back to the g league so he could humble himself.

Feed those kids minutes! Don’t assume Durant is riding his horse into town as a savior.

Knicks need to draft a big guard. Someone who can handle Ben Simmons, attack/draw fouls and dish.

Need to put these fouls in foul trouble and force teams to go to their bench EARLY and often.

Just one really good draft and this team has the promise to be a playoff contender.

Fiz said he pulled the young guys after giving a good effort because they had the look of being gassed and giving up for the night. He literally dissed the success of the starting line-up. It was if he was saying he anticipated them quitting on him. Kind of a psychotic thing to say really

I "think" that Fiz is trying to play some Pat Riley style mind games here. Only not sure he's doing it right. Just a theory.

Just woke up, gonna watch the game later.

Positively surprised by the starting 5. Hopefully Fiz doesn't go "Okay, we tried something different. It didn't work - still lost. Gonna be going back to Burke and Kanter")

He didn’t give the starting line up much props and said “we’ll see” this must of been a teaching game since we finna lots anyway right ? Fiz threw this game away like an idiot.

was pretty clear. kanter can play against old school teams that have back to the back centers, but he clearly shouldn't play a minute against small ball teams that are too quick for his piss poor defense.

i do like the two headed defensive monster of robinson and vonleh. while robinson scares other teams with his deflections, length, and blocking, vonleh does an amazing job of cleaning up rebounds.

burke doesn't deserve to play more than 8-12 mpg, and only against a second unit. but he needs to play with defenders and one other scorer.

Anyways, the young players had solid games and Knicks took the needed L. There's nothing to really complain about

It’s not the fact that we thought we can pull it off. It’s about doing the right thing. The warriors left their MVP’s out there while we benched the starters that gave us the lead. You bring this guys in when it’s tied or close not down 8. It was a mistake and people have to see it or they are just blind. No one cares about the L we are happy with the changes but if the changes are just some bullchit prop to motivate the guys who were benched then this chit is pointless.

Wrong! It gets me mad when people don’t realize how terrible Kanter is on D. Stop looking at stats please.

The problem with Fiz over playing Burke is that when Burke is scoring usually no one else is involved. When no one is envolved our defense usually struggles. This is why leaving Frank and Dotson out for that long was ridiculous. Burke Kanter and Mario changed the game from defensive moderate pace to undisciplined fast paced. As the game went into the early 4th the game needed to slow down. KD got hot so keeping it at a back and forth pace was stupid. No one out shoots kd. This game was going to be won with defense not offense. Fiz coaches horribly from late 3rd through the rest of the game.

Anybody who saw last night this should be the team for the rest of the year. If KP comes back then he slides into Noah’s spot. Hardaway isn’t a starter. He’s better served as scorer off the bench.

Fiz been getting out coached in all these close games and have the nerve to throw the kids under the bus because they didn’t have it after having the lead and being benched for so long. They being soft with their questions huh? Lmao I tried to like this guy after the change. Dude just continues to run his mouth.

Everything is “I gotta get them to” how about “we have to” dude getting to me.

WTH was Fizdale thinking in the 3rd quarter?

He subbed out Frankie first out of all the starters even though he was on his way to a career high (on good efficiency no less.) He takes him out with more than 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and brings him back in with less than 6 minutes to go in the 4th?

Very poor rotation patterns by Fizdale. Against a team like the Warriors who can put points on the board very quickly, leaving defensively challenged guys out there for even 1 minute too long can put the nail in the coffin.

Enes Kanter seems like a nice guy and a good teammate but my gosh is his defense terrible. He makes Melo look like Hakeem Olajuwon on that side of the ball. I used to think he could come off the bench to lead the 2nd unit as a primary scorer for them, but his defense (or lack of,) makes him a liability even when he's playing against opposing bench players.

He's like all the other recent big men such as HIbbert. His skillset/game has become obsolete in this new era of NBA ball. I wouldn't resign him even at 5 million per. Great rebounder and very efficient offensively, but his defense really does make him such a net negative.

There's a few guys that have no business being on this team next year- Kanter, Thomas (Jesus Christ what an abomination he is,) Burke, Courtney Lee. Those 4 should be as good as gone.

hardaway should be benched but he will lose the team because these vets are entitled mfs. The young kids are supposed to be the wave. With a lineup of

Frank
Dotson
Knox
Vonleh
Robinson

You can focus on Knox being the go to guy. Those other lineups were all over the place. It’s all about balance. The bums even chucked there way to a loss off the bench. It’s crazy

I find it hilarious he’s trying to appease Burke and Kanter. I mean I thought they would outscore some of the warrior players but Kerr is a smart coach and left the starters out there to finish the bench unit who plays 0 D.

This is what it needs to be. Knox can start learning to be the go to guy like you said. It’s good for him and all these young guys to build comradery.
