Easy. Weak opponents and Blake is playing out of his mind. Cool poll, tho.

Leuer is listed as injured.

We played weak opponents, mostly at home. Philly game was really good tho, even without Simmons that was a good game and a good test and we beat them.

IIRC Leuer almost played a key second or two in the Sixers game - Casey almost brought him in to bother an inbounds pass. Then Casey changed his mind. Then the Pistons won.

Because I said they would win 50+ games this year, and I'll be damned if I'm going to be wrong.

Again.

Well, the answer is pretty straightforwardly both the first and third options.

There's no denying we've had an easy schedule, regardless of how optimistic you are about the season. We've played 3 very low-end opponents, and we've also had only one road game so far.

And we wouldn't have won them without Blake.

So there it is.

Mostly 1 and 3. Easy schedule w/ the only challenging team missing Ben Simmons. And of course Blake has been arguably the best player in the NBA thus far.

It's definitely a positive sign that we've been able to close out quite a few close games, that's for sure. Execution down the stretch is huge.

1. The team that has scored more points when time runs out wins.
2. The Pistons have scored more points than their opponent in each of the games.

Shout out to the Ish/Reggie combo - for years I had hoped this would happen - Reggie and Jennings prior to that. Watching the league, more strong ballhandlers is a must, and if they play a traditional lineup, one of them has a speed advantage......

Weak schedule. Our hot start last season was a lot more convincing when we're beating teams like Boston and Golden State on the road.

We're about to get tested really quickly though with our next 4 games. Boston home-and-home, @Brooklyn (who isn't good but) on the back to back of the second Boston game and @Philly with them likely at full strength this time.

2-2 would be nice. Anything better than that could be cause of excitement.

Brooklyn just donked one off - Pellies went on a 8-0 run to finish, highlighted by a terrible turnover by Russell and a tech by a bench player during a timeout

Right, I saw that they almost pulled the surprise on New Orleans. We didn't exactly beast the Nets in the home opener only winning by 3. They might have a 2-3 record, but they've been playing teams tough.

With the pre-trade roster, what do you guys think our record would be right now?

We'll level off very soon. It's not like we're scorching the other teams alive, the points differentials aren't too big for me to say it is anywhere near sustainable. But I do like Blake's effort and dragging this team through wins.

This is like deja vu with the Orlando Magic last year

The biggest reason is because we're paying Josh Smith $5.3 million to be anywhere but on this team. He might be a factor next year as well, helping us to go 82-0.

We are undefeated because we scored more points than our opponents every single game.

Blake playing out of his mind helps, Drummond **** around with 20/20 games wouldn't hurt either.

Reggie Jackson shooting 40% from 3 on 7.5 attempts per game doesn't hurt either :D And Ish is shooting 60%+ from 3 on 4 attempts per game. Those are crazy numbers for carrer below average 3 point shooters.
