Week 9

Post#1 » by Pacers_Freak » Wed Oct 24, 2018 2:31 pm

Last weekend in October. Little over one month of the regular season remaining. Enjoy this weekend! I'm thinking a crockpot of chili for the ball games.

Top 25 matchups:
#9 Florida @ #7 Georgia (neutral site)
#18 Iowa @ #17 Penn State
#14 Washington State @ #24 Stanford

The Freak had a great bounce back week last week going 4-1. Bringing the season total to 19-21. Time to stay hot and finish the year on a winning note.

Georgia Tech @ Va Tech -3
Think Va Tech is the better team and they get the Jackets at home at night.

Indiana @ Minnesota over 54
I find it odd that Indiana is a road favorite. But, I like the total here better. Tom Allen is a defensive guy but they have been giving up points this year. Other than the OSU game the Gophers have played in high scoring affairs.

North Carolina @ Virginia Under 49.5
Carolina can give up some points but most of Virginia's games are played in the 30s or 40s. Can't see this one getting over 50. Avoid defensive TDs and this is a win.

South Florida @ Houston -7
Big matchup in the American. But, S. Florida has been barely beating some bad teams. Think Houston rolls them 49-31.

FIU -3.5 @ Western KY
Things are amiss in Bowling Green, KY. My Topper friends are longing for the days of Brohm to return.

Sheeeeeeeit...I started 3 hours ago.

Note to self: that will probably make it difficult to watch the entire Texas/OSU game, or at least remember any of it. Oh well.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

It's crazy how quickly Washington and Wisconsin turned into garbage after starting the season top 6

I doubt it but let's hope osu doesn't follow suit
