The Rockets are 1-4 to start the season. The Carmelo Effect?

In all seriousness, their slow start does have a lot to do with the fact that they lost their two top perimeter defenders in Ariza and Mbah a Moute and replaced them with a defensive sieve in Carmelo.

That team overachieved last year to begin with.

Outside of Golden State, the West is not very good. A lot of solid teams, but no great ones other than the Warriors.

Blows my mind. These GMs are paid stupid money to sign the likes of Melo? Even I know better than that.

Half the GMs in the league make head scratching moves. I honestly think some guys on this board can do a better job for $10/hr.

Remember John Wall talking about how the Wizards are just as likely to end up 1st? I remember.

1-4 losing to asswater teams.

Lol. You can't even make this stuff up. Let me get this straight. James didn't want to play with knuckleheads like JR Smith, and his infamous flub during the Finals. So Lebron joins the Lakers to play with high IQ guys like Rondo, and this guy passes up an open lay-up??!

Bucks are looking good. Still don't think they have enough firepower to truly run with the Celtics or Raptors, but they might be a top four team in the conference along with Indiana.

Yeah because it's Tyronn Lue's fault that the Cavaliers stink. lol.

Just more proof that, save for rare exceptions like Brad, coaches mean absolutely nothing in this league. It's about talent.

The Cavs should have tried to trade Lue to the Lakers for Luke Walton.

I wouldn't go that far, look what coach Bud has done for Milwaukee, Kerr taking over from Jackson, Snyder working wonders with Utah, obviously Popovich and then Thibodeau squandering talent on the Wolves.

That Cavaliers team is absolutely horrendous though. Cleveland was seriously delusional to think they could compete this year

The only remaining likability of that team left with Trevor Ariza. Bunch of jackholes on that team and I pray that they get what's coming to them.

Bud hasn't done that much for Milwaukee. Giannis is merely a monster and they have better shooter than they had last year. As for Kerr? He is coaching Steph, Klay, Durant and Draymond. Now imagine if Kerr took the Knicks job back then.

I also said "rare exceptions," so guys like Brad and Pop are to whom am I referring. Snyder? The jury is still out. They haven't accomplished anything yet.
