As an outsider (Jazz fan) I have to say I really wanted the Jazz to get Huerter in the draft last year, but you guys snatched him a few picks before we got the chance. After just a few games I'm even more bummed now than I was before. It looks to me like you guys got a good one and potential future all-star. He is going to be a good shooter, but his passing and rebounding ability are even better than I thought. I hope that as the season progresses he gets even more minutes. Maybe a few less for Carter and a few more for Huerter.

He missed SL and some of training camp so he's just getting his legs.
His rebounding, defense and passing has been very surprising. You can see his bball IQ coming through.

His speed was concerning to me at first cause he looked somewhat slow overall. The kid is big tho at 6-8 so I see him more as a 3. Don't know about future all star but he seems like a very solid piece moving forward.

His rebounding is better than expected. I think he'll play spot minutes at the 4.

The rebounding is what's really impressed me thus far. I'm glad he's showing more than just shooting ability (like John Jenkins). He looks like he can be a worthy starter in a year or two.

Agreed, I think his position is small forward, he just needs to bulk up.

He's got a good all around game, can create, he could be a Schrempf or a poor man's KD.

Thanks for the honesty.
