Lets here it from Lakers fans at the LakersGround forums. Remember, this is good for everyone to read since this forum too had a legit "Lets sign Lebron" camp in June.

Yes I know it's early in the year and they may improve. I however never pass up an opportunity to needle the enemy.

Lakers fans:

Please at least TRY to play some defense Lebron, and not just focusing on padding stats for your legacy

So far he's putting up King numbers with a Jester's impact

I think he is playing at 70% of his abilities?

Dissapointed with Bron. no way kobe wouldve let someone else guard the other team’s best player in a close game.

He's not Kobe, the sooner we realize this the better. Bron has always been that way. He defers more than anyone that is considered 'greatest' he is what he is. There is a reason why he is the most choke artist from freethrow line and from GW buckets. He is what he is.

From a financial perspective we won't regret that contract, Lebron is a money making machine.

From a basketball perspective, I've extremely skeptical. It's starting to seem like his ability to attract star (which is what Magic banked on) is dubious at best,aAnd if he ends up getting BI traded we will rue this contract for years to come.

His defense has been declining, as Kobe's did when he got old. He's still an incredible player, but he's going to need help closing like he had with Kyrie. Not sure if any of our young guys are up to that task, though.

Hope LeBron isn’t Albert Pujols 2.0

Miami got Miami Lebron, Cleveland got Cleveland Lebron and we get Hollywood Lebron.

Lebron without Rondo is Lebron.

Lebron with Rondo looks like a better version of Randle.

So Rondo/Lonzo sucks
LeBron/Rondo sucks

Who does he play well with?

IlCapitano became a Lakers fan?

Never understood the mentality of a Rondo stan but OK.

LeBron blaming his teammates? My God. I never thought I would see that before.

Report: NBA to push back the start of the 2019-20 regular season
By, MICHAEL KASKEY-BLOMAIN | 10-30-18

https://247sports.com/nba/boston-celtics/Article/NBA-to-push-back-the-start-of-the-2019-20-regular-season-per-report-124009319/
According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the start of the 2019-20 season will be moved back one week and begin on Oct. 22. The playoffs will also begin a week later as a result....

According to O'Connor, the change to the schedule was made in order to prevent opening night from occurring too early moving forward each year, with player's participation in the FIBA World Cup also being a factor. The FIBA World Cup begins on Aug. 31 in China and runs through Sept. 15. Delaying the start of the season will provide the participating players with additional rest time.

In 2017, the NBA moved up the start date of the regular season in order to extend the season, reduce travel stress for the teams and players and limit the number of back-to-back and four-game, five-night scenarios. With this decision, the league is hoping that pushing everything back one week will keep that same level of rest opportunities for the league's players intact over the course of each team's long and arduous 82-game regular season schedule.

Any interest in Dragan Bender? Still just 20 years old and is 7’1. Suns just declined his option for next year.

Eh. He's not panning out, too well.
Might be a good 6th option, though. Behind Robert Williams, and in place of Guerschon Yabusele.

Bender is in a tough spot - if we had room to get him on a dirt cheap three year deal and put him in the weight room, I’d do it.. he’s got talent but he’s a matchstick. The Suns rushed him and now they’re blaming him for not being ready for the minutes he wasn’t ready for. He’ll end up like Jan Vesely, playing well in Europe.

6ers got wrecked by the Raps last night. Simmons is gonna have nightmares about Kawhi. I don't think 6ers stand a chance against Raps. Kawhi is the Simmons' kryptonite.

Yeah MVP players tend to be. They also tend to be 2 way players like Kawhi.

LeBron, AD, Kawhi, Durant, Curry, Greek Freak

They all get it done on both ends of the court and in multiple ways besides the ways that they're absolutely elite.

Greek Freak and AD need to finish themselves and get that 3 up to about 34% shooting though.

A long debate that not everyone will agree with me. But I see Curry as an average or slightly above average defender, and a good rebounder for his position.

He usually averages about 4 rebounds and 2 steals a game but again his value is more positional and team defense. He gets a lot of **** because he's the worst of the best defenders on his team and often gets thrown in switches on LeBron or Irving.

I don't want to rehash it but google "is steph curry a good defender" and there are many points on both sides. I settle down to feeling he's average to very slightly above average defensively. It's okay if you don't.

You won’t find a bigger Steph fanboy than me.. but to call him a 2 way player is a bit much. He may not be as bad as some make him seem, but he’s not top notch on the defensive side of the ball in any stretch of the imagination.
