Alterior motives. He knows he's trash. Organization has too much invested. Sadly for Korkmaz, the investment in him is minimal, so there is no face to save, while messing over him.

Korkmaz hasn't shown us anything. He sucked in garbage time end of last season. He can't defend. He's a spot up occasional shooter. He needs to gain about 20 pounds to withstand the NBA rigors as well. I can understand his frustrations. I guess he can tell the sixers he's going back to turkey and that will force the situation even more.

Agreed. Does Furkan and a 2nd rounded get it done?
Solves some of the shooting woes, doesn’t improve wing and PF defending.

Yes. If you said it that way, there would be no conversation and nothing to disagree with.

It's depressing that pretty much all of Colangelo's draft picks have been brutal and set this organization back:
- Simmons: no issue here
- Fultz: Tatum and Mitchell would be better players and fits and not costed the Kings first
- TLC: Siakam, Murray, Brogdan, and McCaw would have been nice - many on this board wanted them
- Korkmaz: same as TLC
- Pasecniks: he seriously traded the OKC pick for him?

Not to mention Colangelo screwing up the Nerlens and Okafor trades.

Shout out to the Ringer/Bill Simmons for saving the Sixers from themselves.

Another wasted pick down the drain, they couldn’t try to pawn him off after summer league with Bayless? I totally lost faith in this coaching staff on developing anyone. Brett is a really good talker but bad coach.

Wow, that's shocking. I'm surprised he didn't even get a chance here. Better ship him off with Bayless for Korver if he's basically just an expiring contract now.

Does this mean that Elton is comfortable moving on from Colangelo's mistakes? That's a good sign for him as a GM, I guess.

BB is terrible.

Korkmaz is cheap, and he can shoot. You never have enough shooters. I can´t understand why they cant develop him.

maybe better to just cut him now, so we can sign somebody who can help now.

Definitely better to cut him. If he plays well, you literally cannot pay him enough to keep him. If he doesn;t develop, you lose a roster spot and a development flier.

Say what you want about Hinkie, but this dude blew the drafts. Some on this board would say he blew all of his picks.

A petty spiteful cutting from our alcoholic coach, brett brown.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
