OT: What Kind of Season Will Derrick Rose Have? - PG. 5 - Rose Scores 50!

Seeing him get emotional like this makes me get the feels. Why didn't he show this vulnerability to us during his recovery? There were so many times it seemed like he no longer cared. Clearly we were wrong for thinking that. Glad he's able to have this special moment.

I'm in my early 20s, so never really got to see MJ. I loved the Baby Bulls, love Lauri and Zach, Joakim, hell even Jimmy...

But nothing will compare to the happiness I got from watching Derrick postgame. It's just a really special feeling, and it's just the start of his comeback party.

Rose was our MJ. I'm 25. Never got to see MJ live. He's my favorite sports athlete ever.

I wish he never got injured. It still hurts :cry:

Glad to see him have a night like this.

I have certainly been a detractor of his for some time now, and as of lastyear I would have laughed if you had me guess he'd have a night like this. But hell, he has inspired millions, and the NBA playerbase certainly loves him. Twitter goin bananas.

Man, I'm really happy for Drose. I really hope he plays another 5-6 years at least, gets a 6th man or 2, and gets into the HOF

Maybe even a fan vote into the allstar game.

I'm not really an emotional guy, but this gave me a lump in my throat.

I've gone from irrationally defending him, to being absolutely angry towards him, but through it all, I always considered him one of the most misunderstood great athletes the NBA has ever seen.

You can tell that he is by nature a very emotional person, so it makes sense that the injuries took such a mental toll on him over the years, but it looks like finally he has past the point of worrying about rehabbing from a serious injury and finally getting back to enjoying basketball and it's wonderful to watch.

Once the news hit that Jimmy wanted out, I said my dream would be to see Derrick Rose become an All-star again and lead the Wolves to the playoffs. I doubt that it would happen, but I'm secretly hoping that it does.
