I'm torn...I want to watch this PPV because it's a pretty decent card, but on the other hand.... Yeah.

I'll treat it like I treat Raw and Smackdown and just read a recap.

The Greatest Royal Rumble was a totally forgettable show too and I assume this will basically be the same.

Any issues with women's wrestling, I forgot. Are they supposed to cover up still.

People booing everytime Crown Jewel is mentioned. Nice.

The women aren't on the card at all. Not allowed to perform there.

These possible Survivor Series matches

— Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey

— Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura

— AJ Styles vs Braun Strowman

All sound great

Bryan and Cena both are not attending apparently.

WWE had the option to fix this, and decided not to. It’s on them.

It's not as if Bryan and Cena not going causes some kind of PR nightmare. I think they're banking on the idea that they'll go, collect the revenue, receive some criticism for a day or two, and then everyone will forget about it in a month. I think they'll be right.

I mean, just going there at all is a PR nightmare. Their stock has dropped significantly since they announced they'd still be going forward with Crown Jewel, and at this point is has to have dropped more than enough to counter any money they'd actually be making on the show. In the past month, the stock has lost about 33% of its value.

Lynch vs. Rousey was already confirmed on raw, yesterday.

Do you have sources for the other two matches or are this only proposals?

It's the same thing they did last year, champions vs champions

I’m watching MMC and I just can’t get a grasp on Alicia Fox. She’s a total enigma. It’s often said that she can’t wrestle, but I don’t think that’s necessarily true. She executes individual moves as well as any woman on the roster. She bumps like a boss and she can run the ropes better than most of the women. She’s shown that she gets the wrestler-crowd relationship and does comedy wrestling really well. But has she ever had even an average match? Cameron can name one, but I can’t. It’s bizarre.

I’d love to see a lengthy shoot interview with her. She clearly loves performing, but I wonder if she likes wrestling. I could easily see her on the indies working some wacky gimmick.

Part of the issue has, predictably, been booking. I actually quite like Fox, I think she has a middling-or-better talent level, and she has charisma (and as you point out, she plays the audience very well).

I looked it up, and she's been on the main roster for 10 years. Can you name one high-profile program she's had in that time? I can't. They've never really known what to do with her: she turns from face to heel and back again on a show-by-show basis depending on which other woman needs an opponent that night, and the most they've given her as a character is "uh...I dunno, she's really crazy or something".

Again, as you say, maybe that's all she wants out of the business. Never hurts to have people like that on the roster. I wonder if they've ever really tried to do more with her, or whether both sides are maybe just happier with things as they are.

Spoiler:
Hasn't been reported by Meltzer or anyone but there's rumors going around that the WrestleMania 35 main event is going to be Becky vs Charlotte vs Ronda.

Wonder how they set that up, does Ronda lose the Raw Title, win the Rumble and go to SmackDown?

If they move Ronda to SmackDown, it allows them to do the Alexa/Trish match at WrestleMania that they wanted to do at Evolution.

I've also thought that Fox is pretty underrated when it comes to her in ring work. She executes moves really well, has a fantastic german suplex bridge, she just gets how to play off of the crowd whether she's face or heel...I think I'd be okay with her having a title run to be honest...which title though, shoot, I don't know.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

What is everyone's favorite Owen Hart match(es)?

EDIT, besides his cage match with Bret.

Bizarrely enough, I think the match he broke Austin's neck was really good. It doesn't get enough credit for its quality, for obvious reasons.

Didn't know where else to put this but it's pretty funny. Jericho and Cody making fun of Punk for calling himself a "Locker Room Leader".
