Personally, if we could somehow swap Jimmy "POS" Butler for Bradley Beal, that would be my ultimate "home run". The contracts for Wall and Porter are terrible. Wall will be making $47M per year in 2020/21. Yuck. My dream scenario:

C - KAT/Dieng
PF - Gibson/Tolliver
SF - Wiggins/Okogie
SG - Beal/Rose
PG - Teague/Jones

Agreed. Wonder if the Wizard would accept Butler + an asset for Beal. Like Butler and a 1st or Bulter + Okogie + 2nd.

Butler and Okogie for Beal? Are you a wolves fan or a Wizard's spy?

Beal would be a good fit for the Wolves. But just do not see the Wiz trading Beal. Especially for Butler who looking to get paid big and nothing but a lateral move. The Wolves are gonna have to look for another disgruntle star or an underachieving star that needs a fresh start.

Throw in Dieng and Mahinmi for good measure

I like the value we get back but maybe we can send Wall to phoenix for some unprotected suns frp and milwaukee frp, jackson and bender. If those picks turn into reddish and tyus little brother i’d be happy.

(Waive Wesley to bring in Joakim)

John Wall / Tyus Jones / Austin Rivers
Andrew Wiggins / Derrick Rose / James Nunnally
Josh Okogie / Solomon Hill / Luol Deng
Taj Gibson / Anthony Tolliver / Keita Bates-Diop
Karl-Anthony Towns / Joakim Noah / Justin Patton

Have three firsts next season to play with.

Maybe we should trade Butler for General Soreness, Colonel Contusion and Corporal Cramps.

I'd much rather root for a Butlerless team that plays hard every night than a team led by an entitled **** who stalls the offense

Why don't we spam Jimmy's phone with texts about how hypocritical he is?

If the Heat start losing the less likely they will trade for a Jimmy

The heat won't trade for butler if they are a basement dweller. Why trade for butler at the deadline if the heat can get a top 5-6 draft pick or whatever?

But... If the heat are at about 5th-8th playoff seed (or even the outside looking in), I'd imagine it would be more tempting.

In either case interest from other teams will arise by the deadline and some teams lose interest. Things change quick.

I am more than a little frustrated with Butler after watching the Warriors game. There were 3-4 plays where KAT was wide open (for a jumpshot or rolling to the rim) and Butler either didn't see him or refused to pass him the ball. There were an additional handful of plays where KAT had post position and was defended by a much smaller guy and Butler clearly didn't make any effort to pass to Towns. Refusing to pass to the teams best offensive player for easy shots is really hurting the team. I've come to believe that a huge part of KAT's slow start on offense is due in large part to Butler being an unwilling passer.

I'm not telling you anything about offense under Thibs except that it doesn't change throughout the game. Only change is willing participants. Towns has shown to be unwilling in crunch time per your graphic. No other way to interpret it.

You dont have other ways to explain it. I have. Jimmy is an inmature, egoistic, hypocrite, maniac freak that only like things done his way. Maybe you cant see it because you are a Bulls fan, and lottery is boring, but is very clear to long time fans.

It's not about being a Bulls fan, I promise. We have a sect of our fanbase that is completely blinded by Jimmy Butler love/obsession. Those of us that value the team more than a player know he's a piece of ****.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own facts. I've never met this sect, pretty sure it's not a thing in any reality, and certainly wouldn't be one of them.

You, Lord Baldric , Suszanne sp, Red Bull23, Airp. Some of you guys have it so bad that you change team fandoms, You did not notice the other 5 or 6 former fans who came with Buthead.

With Riley? I disagree. Does he ever rebuild, or just retool?

Yes, but I am not sure what your definition of rebuild is. Shaq and Wade was a rebuild. The Big 3 was a rebuild. He tried to retool around Wade and Bosh when Lebron Left. But Bosh illness and Wade flexed left the Heat in bad situation. The Heat intended to retool with Wade and Bosh by adding Durant or Gordon Hayward with Dragic (eventually taking over for Wade) and Whiteside and complementary pieces.

This team was suppose to be

PG: Dragic
SG: Wade
SF: Durant or Hayward
PF: Bosh
C: Whiteside.

That's a lot of max contracts (or close to max).
