YOUR Washington Bullets are off to one of the worst starts ever! They are 1-7 and at the bottom of the standings. Not only that, they are at the bottom of a lot of statistical indicators! They can't play defense for some odd reason, they can't rebound, and they turn over the rock.
They got ran off the gym in Dwight Howard's first game as a member of the club. He had a good offensive debut but that's about it. John Wall had 7 turnovers and wasn't playing defense on Westbrook. Bradley Beal shouldered the scoring load and took Brooks' clipboard away from him to coach the team. Otto Porter got his toe hurt but came back and didn't do anything after a strong start.
The Knicks are coming to DC off a win over the Mavs. The Knicks can score lots of points and I expect them to take advantage of the lax defense. Hardaway Jr. and Kanter figure to dominate the Wizards and we get to see Mitchell Robinson outplay the Wizards centers too.
We're approaching the 10 game mark and IMO after 20 games you'll probably see Leonsis MAYBE make a change. It is cheaper to fire Grunfeld than Brooks.
