Might as well tank for Cam Reddish while we're at it

Love to replace wiggins with Reddish or Barrett

Wiggins puts way to much faith in his midragne off the dribble game. He used to get the line now and then and he used to jam it.

yeah

When was the last time he posterized someone?

This role belongs now to Okogie

I remember when we had an entire starting 5.

"is Cap Space white?" is still one of the best posts ever on this board.

Pekovic, Love, AK, Rubio and Shved?
Good times

I wish we find a player like AK47: 6'9", 7' wingspan, versatile defender, passer and rebounder.

Blazers shot 25% from 3. Can't even take advantage of such things. Wolves got under them somehow.
Wolves, 31% FG, 23% from 3.

So yeah this was Towns with nobody to steal shots from him. Towns shooting % was elite (for 25 minutes). If only this was Tennis singles. That whole 5 defensive boards tho. I cherish every one of them given how much Wiggins gives a hoot about them.

Nurkic by the way is a first round (#16) player (age 24) who makes 12 million/yr through 2021-22. He still adds 19 points (72%) and 12 boards in 23 minutes. Helped the blazers get second chance points and handles his role.

That two year age difference tho. Towns will wreck all two years fro...when he's hauling in 30/yr.

66 boards to 38. In the lakers game Wolves won the boards battle. What happened here? Wolves focused on steels instead this game?

Could send Wiggs to Ihop and Wendy's every morning and night and then make him learn to play center.

Portland beat us in defensive rebounding% 79% to 59%.

Among them Towns was at 22%, Dieng 29%, Taj 15%, Tolliver 12%.

Career averages for them are 28%, 22%, 17% and 14.7% respectively.

They were all downs except for Dieng but not that below to explain the difference. Is clearly a wing/guard problem to me, and at some extent on the PF too.

As for Nurkic, he is good in the post, but you can imagine what Towns would do with two guards with the handles and willigness to make the right play as Lilliard or McCollum?

Biggest problem yesterday wasn't lack of heart or anything...it was lack of ball handlers...Tyus was the only decent ball handler in the entire team yesterday...it was so obvious yesterday how tough was it for the offense to create good openings due to lack of good ball handlers...if we had any of Rose, JImmy, Teague, it could have been much better

Well now. If Jimmy is there people blame him for iso and KAT vanishing. Rose is on ball effective this year and does make a huge difference and frees others up. Teague, what gives. When is he expected back? Could really use him. Unless we are already tanking this.

Jimmy iso is a problem(he is a damn good player but he has his own limitations)...our performance yesterday isn't gonna change that fact. Our offense was pretty damn good against Mavs and Jazz(who are a good defensive team) and Jimmy didn't even play in either of those matches. Difference was that we had Rose and Teague in those matches, whereas both were missing yesterday. Against good defensive teams, you need ball handlers. Our 2nd unit yesterday was utter garbage...Wiggins was handling ball majority of the time for 2nd unit and that's not something he is good at. It was just painful watching our offense yesterday. KAT can't do everything on his own when we don't even have a ball handler on court.

I think that was meant when they called Jimmy the best two way player, because now he can hurt our team both on and off the court.
