This may be more non Russ player of the games than the last two years combined.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Call me crazy but I'm hoping Anthony Davis plays on Monday night. I'd like to see if this team matches up with another potential playoff team.

I can already foresee OKC having problems with Mirotic, much like they've had problems with Gallinari in the two games against the Clippers.

In my opinion this game is, like most against teams with a really good front-court, in large parts being decided by/if Adams gets in foul trouble(and if Davis plays).
If New Orleans is able to get Adams to play few minutes, it is going to be a tough night.

Overall I hope to see a good game, our shooters to gain/keep their confidence and good defense. I also hope for as few as possible minutes of Westbrook and Schröder sharing the court together.

Last couple of years usually they give us a lot of problems with Davis on the court. Especially now with Mirotic I believe it will be edgy.
I hope we can see the elite defense from us and easy buckets in transition.

I saw signs of eliminating the "Davis problem" in the Hornets game where the "automatic scorer" of the opposing team repeatedly kills us because of our erratic team defense. Now, PG13 and Schröder are so sticky (and Abrines much better compared to last year) that even if they are having a bad offensive game you can keep playing them for their defense and let other guys do their job while not constantly fearing about that single big threat of the opposing team. Last year I just hoped that management could find a TJ McConnell caliber "throw onto the opposing guard to wear him down" kind of guy but they got Schröder, the mini-me version of Westbrook so everything is super fine.

I am still not hopeful about an elite "team defense" from the first team because of the "steal first" attitude of Westbrook but much more hopeful about the second team.

Oh and by the way with every new Lakers game I guess everybody will see how correctly PG13 identified the dysfunctional Lakers and will understand the wisdom behind his decision. Lebron is acting like a spoiled brat and treating Lonzo Ball like a kid, sometimes not trusting him even to carry the ball over the court. With Tyson Chandler they are going to be running the "the desperate housebuddies of LA" show soon, some reality show material there.

What?

What does this mean?

Davis and Miller are probable to play or they are probably out?
Randle is not listed where? (on the game report (so he is definitely out) or on the injury list (so he is clearly playing))

Hamlet: To be or not to be?
Pelicans: Anthony Davis and Darius Miller are. Probably.

I'm sure it was a typo that was meant to be "probable" but talk about confusing because you could wonder if he meant "probably out."
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Defense always starts slow and the Donovan calls a timeout and gets everyone back on track.

Donovan = GOAT

And you can’t have your loan back. We are going to win this game because our bench > Pels’ bench.

we're doing some extremely aggressive pnr defense on AD and we've been very fortunate nop has missed the many open threes he's created for them in the process.
