As of today, this team would get shredded by Toronto or Milwaukee in the playoffs.

Home court is going to be a major advantage in the playoffs. Milwaukee and Toronto fans are crazy loud.

Without homecourt, I would tend to agree.

I mean, sure. But we're 9 games into the season.

PIstons would've been the 2 seed by this point last year.

Mikal Bridges had 16 points on Halloween and another 14 last night. Looks about to pass Josh Jackson on the depth chart..

It’s still early but I’m a little frustrated with the offense. All that talent but they can’t make it work so far.

Not to pile on the Cavs, but I'm gonna.

This is the prize they got for Kyrie;

It’s becoming increasingly clear that when you hear a Cavs veteran talk about younger players not knowing their role, or knowing how to win, or what to do on the court, they mean Sexton. Throughout the organization, the line on Sexton is that he does not “know how to play.” He doesn’t know how to defend the pick and roll. He doesn’t know how to set up teammates as a point guard. He’s playing 25 minutes a night, averaging 11.1 points and 2.2 assists (2.1 turnovers) and is shooting 22 percent from 3-point range. Against the Hornets, he had as many points (four) as fouls. He had no chance against Tony Parker.

At one point during Saturday’s game, veteran starting point guard George Hill told Sexton he’d teach him how to play defense. Only, there is little confidence in the locker room that Sexton will listen to him. Remember when I wrote during the preseason that the Cavs’ players loved Sexton? Well, that was true then. And they don’t think he’s a bad guy now. They know he’s 19 and he only played one year of college ball. They still think he’s a nice kid. But they see his deficiencies, they know he’s going to be on the court, and they’re discouraged when after these losses, he doesn’t seem bothered by them.

We took it to Milwakee the other night. They held the lead for less than 10 minutes and never led in the 2nd half.

I wouldn't say Boston took it to them. Celtics hit a franchise record for 3's and the game was one possession with 5.5 seconds left.

We need to have an inside game instead of settling for mid range/3pt jumper early in the clock. kyrie and jayson should start penetrating inside early on. as much as i hate lowry, he was driving inside looking for the open man. whether inside cutting or out in the 3pt line. The ball is moving constantly. Good thing its early in the season.

I guess Nets fans can actually feel pretty good seeing that LeVert is turning into much better basketball player than Brown. Called it last year. LeVert just knows how to play with the ball in his hands while Brown is completely clueless.

3 minutes to go vs Memphis, Murray is 5-18 from the floor, 13 points. Unreal how these randoms get hot vs Celtics. I remember a couple of years ago when Mudiay made every shot in Boston.

Seeing Sabonis dunk on Embiid gives me life.

Return to Boston Celtics
