Seems they are treating it day to day, but he's been ruled out for tonight.

He looked good walking off the court right after the end of the Spurs game.

Was just going to mention this. No limp, no brace, no boot. Seemed fine.

Nah. I still love the Orlando Magic as an organization. Hell, I don’t even live there anymore. I just refuse spending my time to watch sh*t basketball because some troll on an Internet forum questions my fanhood.

It’s hard to consider someone a fan when they focus nearly all their comments on hating the players on the team or the management decisions while openly stating they don’t even want to watch games.

THAT sounds more like a troll to me. Wouldn’t ya say?

I don’t believe in any of the players on the roster aside from a healthy isaac and the potential of Bamba. Neither play very much if at all due to injury. Does that make me real or a homer? I choose not to wear the blue tinted glasses and you can do whatever you want. That aside, your opinion in particular of me matters far less than any other poster on this board, so take that fwiw.

When you watch Spurs and their comple lack of athletics, speed or anything yet ,elite defense ( same with Celitics , Nuggets and Memphis) only conclusion anyone can draw is that key for defense and offense is having elite BBIQ players.
Players who are responsible and who don't make many mistakes.
Lot of nba players are capable of having huge nights, but most of players are not capable of being smart, well paced and in position to succeed on night to night bases.
Lenght helps, it's pointless to even debate about it, athletic help , but it does not really matter how long and fast you are if you don't make right decisions and you are constantly out of position or take low efficiency shots. At some point in one or in another games that will come to bite you in a**.

Last night Spurs wanted to be cute and put Bertans in SL ( Gay hurt or something i guess ? ) along with Cunnigham and they sucked. BUt in second they put in game almost 38 years old Pau their team saw major improvments on both ends. Sure Pau is 7'2 with wingspan but he is so slow and so old that even that lenght isn't that big of a factor. What is an factor, whoever, is his decision making on both ends and playing to his strenghts. 23 min 12 points 7 rebounds 5 assists , +/- of +3 ( Bertans -12 , that's 15 point swing ). If game lasted 5 more min Magic would probably lost. Thankfully they did not.

Magic more than anything else need from Clifford or any other coach to teach young players ( and not so young ones ) how to be responsible on the floor. You can't take plays off, you can't take games off and even if you miss out on some play, don't let it be plague that will shed over to next plays.

If you are coach of Magic right now you simply have to sit down with Simmons and talk about his games. Guy is destroying this team .He is beyond usless on offense ( negative win share, 82 off rating, -5 in box score on offense, yet 20% usage rate ) and in same time he plays the worst defense of his career it's time to intervention. Let him off team for day or two, let him spend few days with family,he is no good for team right now.
ive said this for a couple of years now. Team defense is more important than individual defenders. Noticed how last night when the shots were falling we played with more intensity on defense that’s because imo players are motivated when they score. We play a completely different game when the ball is going through the hoop. The way you win in the NBA is elite wing scoring, spacing, and good team defensive scheme.

I think it's safe to say we're all fans in here.....it takes a very specific type of person to post on a messageboard about a team that's been losing for the better part of the last decade lol.

Can't we all just get along?

Not even worth it bro. I'm getting the same treatment from two children, because I choose to take the blinders off and not eat the BS this organization feeds me. We can't aim for and achieve the playoffs properly, we can't tank properly to get franchise players to turn our fortunes around. It's been the same rinse and repeat cycle for 7 years now.

Yes, we have something like the 2nd or 3rd toughest schedule in the league.

Only under the assumption that our entire schedule is as the start (it’s not) and no one in the league will get injured (they will) and no trades will occur across the league (they will).

I understand this is a common thing to project. I just hate misleading stats such as this.

@cavs G JR Smith on @OrlandoMagic, who won 102-100 on Monday night: "They're still a good team. They just beat San Antonio the night before, who is obviously a really good team. (The Magic) are probably one of the teams in the playoffs.

- Suns add talent, add vets, yet never get better
- From top 5 teams in nba , somehow at least 3 of them are from East
- Memphis, Spurs and Blazers will win much more games than ESPN predicted
- Cavs wil not win 31 games , maybe combined in next two years
- i'm enjoying Lakers struggles waaay too much

Crazy league, East top 5 teams are fun to watch.

YESSS!!! I love how LEspn looks silly with every loss. Second seed in the west, only the warriors could beat them they said!! Every loss is just a joy lol. Idk what to think about Ingram. Some are wanting him to go to the bench. The lakers protected this guy so much and wouldn't they look super bad if he ends up being just meh and they could have traded him for Kawhi or others in the past. Is he losing value because of him trying to do too much, or is it Lebron? Anyway, i watch the stories from the lakers more than i watch the team!!

As for the wiz, we can only hope they blow it up and we can get in the mix somehow to get a good player.

Feel bad for Walton. He thought he was coming in to teach and develop the young guys and then bam LeBron comes to town and all that changes. Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it through the season. Magic front office should be keeping a close eye on the situation out there. They may be looking to trade one or more of those young guys for some cap flexibility come deadline time.

They kind a overdrafted and overrated most of their draftees

2014 , drafted Randle, could draft Lavine or G. Harris
2015 drafted Russell ,could draft Porzingis
2016 drafted Ingram i guess not bad choice given alternatives ( Murray ?! )
2017 drafted Lonzo ,could draft Tatum

outlook of that team would look different if they have Murray- Tatum -Lebron -Randle roster today ,instad they have group of players that does nothing without ball in their hands and in same time non of them is actually good at spotting up for jumpshots. And Lebron with ball, others spot up has been his bread and butter for last 10 years, he looks awkward confused and not sure what to do when he is off ball. In same time, at age of 34 i don't see graceful decline if he gets player better than him to play with him and still demands the ball.

In general i thought his move to LA was sign of the end of an era, i don't see how team with declining superstar who still chases his numbers ,plays no defense and creates all sorts of a drama will ever be serious team on West.
I actually don't feel bad for Walton because his father told him to not take a job knowing that Lakers are s***tshow.
I LOVE Magic as player, i really find him super overrated as everything else.

Whole his image of succesful bussines man is laughable to me. It's just millionaire who attaches himself and invests money in already sucessful project and gets praised for being smart investor. Not so hard to have success when your starting position is basketball HOF, one of all time great athletes, millionaire and just invest money into already established brands like Dodgers, Starbucks , Lakers...
Millionaires making even more money off investments on other multi million dollars companies that simply can't fail because that they have monopoly of market does make them amazing business man, just smart enough to relocate resource. ( in general i get annoyed reading about ritch people making more money by having starting position where it's almost impossible to fail, like some star's kid making fist milion from "his" brand, after experts wasted 5 millions into making whole thing work ).

Whole story short about Magic -was super vocal against Jim Buss and Kuptcheck, becomes GM and first moves he makes are: McGee, Lance, Beasley and Rondo.
if you can handpick ( minus MCgee) 3 players who are worst fit to Lebron they are players you would pick
To me Magic- Lebron marriage has more to do with off court stuff than basketball aspect , or maybe they have enough "backstage" power and nba has some sort of script where they know they will somehow get Davis or somebody else and script another Lakers ring.
:dontknow: hope not.
