not a chucker.... but at times he gets tunnell vision. he is a great passer, he needs to balance it a bit. he has missed some wide open guys. not a big concern, just focus it.

It's only 9 games in but I think I've seen enough to be sold on LeVert, he's showing consistency and efficiency overall with his scoring prowess. Pencil him in as a keeper and a starter for this team going forward now and in the future.

What comes next is to draft a higher ceiling player to go with LeVert and Allen.

Now I agree he's starting off great, but it's all in how he finishes. We have seen time and time again, guys ball out until the All star, than after that they fall off. I expect him to have a rough streak sometime this season but hopefully it isn't too bad. The end of the season will prove a lot if he plays great.

LeVert's been playing great. You think he'd have open lanes to drive with RHJ and big jay down low? Everyone shoots that's how Atkinson wants his offense to look.

If it aint broke don't try to fix it

Are you blind? Look at the clip of LeVert driving to the rack. Look who is on the floor

Its crazy how much space bigs are giving him and he's still beating them to the rim. If I'm the coaching staff, I tell him to walk into at least 1 three a game on a mismatch. They need to start showing some respect for the shot. Bigs are waiting for him at the free throw line basically.

I noticed this during the game too.

The drive was good but when I saw Kenny afterwards, I was wondering why he was so happy lol.

Dude you just said that LeVert won't have open lanes with RHJ and another non 3point shooting big on the floor, yet there is an example of LeVert having an open lane to drive with two non 3 point shooters on the floor. The Nets don't have to have 4 shooters on the floor at all times to score. Caris LeVert's driving ability has nothing to do with Jared Dudley, the Nets were smacking Philly last night with Dudley on the bench.

Posting links without context doesn't really prove your point. How about actually trying to address the points being presented specifically?

Isn't nice to have a coach that genuinely loves to coach his players, teach them, and is happy when they succeed?

Compare this to miserable ass Lionel Hollins, or Avery, or J-Kidd who didn't care if we tanked games because he had some drinking to do that same night in Manhattan.

“Instead of four-out, one-in, we’re doing a lot more five-out. We have a lot more motion out of that. That does free up a lot more spacing,” Spencer Dinwiddie said. “We still have some of that four-out, one-in look. But to start, we’re trying to keep it as spaced as possible.”

So, I'm struggling to understand your lack of enthusiasm for LeVert based on this post and your "sell high" comment in that Nets poll in the GB.

This guy was a wing in college, and one who had a famously interrupted career, right? Well, if the Nets are encouraging him to master the 1-3 positions, wouldn't it be amazing if he DIDN'T have patches of tunnel vision? I mean, come on. And yet at the same time, out of all the people on the team, he's the one who'll probably hurt you the least when he does that. Meanwhile, he seems right in the middle of a significant development spurt. Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?

To me, LeVert has incredibly smooth and quick athletic prowess that you don't see very often even at the NBA level. A gifted, natural driver & finisher (and more, really), who due to circumstances hasn't even fully explored that.

I don't know. Maybe I'm missing some major holes in Caris' game, significant even for a young, developing player. Otherwise, the comments that I see you making about him seem pretty... "out there," to be polite. :dontknow:
