Night? You mean seasons, right? Russ was defensive player of the year in the Pac-12. Defense was one of the primary reasons Russ was so highly drafted. He just no longer cares about defense and it has been YEARS since he gave the effort he should on that end of the court.

i think jerami grant has overall done an excellent job defensively on mirotic. a couple of his scores have come on wild switching we've done in the pnr. he's stuck with him really well. this is one example where grant over patterson probably is the better choice defensively at least.
