What's Kuz been elite at?

Dude, I don't know what numbers you're looking at but maybe you need to take a step back and watch a game... Of which Ingram was suspended for 4... The numbers again, aren't telling you the whole story.

Kuz can score in bunches occasionally, which is messing with his numbers also this season... but when he's not scoring, he's still basically useless... He's trying to do too much bully ball and his outside shot stopped falling like it was last season. His defense is comically bad most of the time.

Ingram "won" because he has much better handles, he's a much more creative and skilled scorer, and he's a good and willing defender... His shot is better but isn't money yet, but then again, Kuz's isn't this season either.
Not only that but he came into this season and is playing off of LeBron like they've been doing it for years... He's also over 2 years younger than Kuz... His ceiling is higher.

50.5% fg (47.4)
34.3% 3pt (36.4)
82.4% ft (68.8)
59% ts (53.9)
22.9 usg (26.4)
119 ortg (98)
117 drtg (116)
+ 5 (+4.6)
33.8 mins (28.3)
21.3 pts (17.3)
5.5 rebs (4)
1.8 asts (1)

The left side is Kuzma as a starter. The right side is Ingram. Again wtf has Ingram did? Besides be outplayed by Kuzma across the board actually. Don't tell me about what he can possibly be in year 3, **** all that. He's a top pick, Kobe at that age Ingram is at was an all star, all nba, all defense, and on the way to helping win a title and take over the west with expectations, Shaq, Phil, and trading Eddie/Nick hanging over him.

Right now Kobe and Eddie apply here actually. Ingram is Eddie. You're doing Kuzma a disservice to prop up Ingram when he is out playing him, he is out performing him, and statistically they are defending damn near the same results wise

Few more gems for you:

57% 2pt% (50%)
2.5% orb (5.6)
13.8% drb (9.3)
4.8 turnover % (14.7)
-3.4 bpm (-6.1)

Ingram hasn't been a positive at all. People are on Lonzos ass and they were kissing Harts while he was scoring, but Kuzma is outplaying them all once again just like last year

My eye test tells me Kuzma is more comfortable in his current role than Ingram and I think that is showing on the court. Ingram has shown some growth but he's not "jumping" ahead.... that much is evident. Different players with different benefits to the team. Hopefully they can both mesh with Bron or one of them is most likely trade bait.

I think one of them should be trade bait... Based on both their statements about starting (Kuz was a little more diplomatic) I think we're close to having an issue with figuring out PT between the 2... So whoever you think is the better option going forward, I think it's time to trade the other one or we might risk a decrease in trade value in one or both of them.
Trying to start both of them just seems awkward and forced...
Although, if like I've harped on, if Kuz could get back to being a scary 3pt threat, and let Ingram and LeBron worry about getting to the rim, it might eventually seem more natural.

The fact that Ingram is getting the ball in crunch time to take heat of LeBron probably tells you enough about whether the Lakers are keeping him or not

Or you know Ingram could be the one to work on his three ball and be the shooter.

Kuzma is the better cutter, better finisher at the rim, better free throw shooter, and again the better and more efficent offenseive player. HE needs to be the one given the ball to convert and finish. Ingram needs to be the one who learns to shoot the ball from the three and free throw line as the spacer because Kuz is out shooting and playing him.

Why make the better player adapt to the lesser player? Because right now the past two years they have been together Kuzma is the better player

Randle leading the Pels right now against OKC 21/8 on 100% shooting... Glad he's still doing well.

They are a -15 on the year with him on the floor and he is allowing 60 percent up close to his opponent this year despite the team average being 5% better. They would have been better off keeping Cousins and Rondo. And in true Randle fashion he got his numbers and the team lost

Cmon man... They've got pretty much the same record as we do... They aren't winning too many games...
They allow the 10th most points (we allow the 2nd :banghead: ), while scoring the 13th most (we're 3rd)...
And Randle essentially replaces AD... They've played together less than 90 min this season... Of course they're worse when AD is off the floor.
That said, their second most effective lineup this season has Randle in it...

That team is terrible defensively... 25th in the league. But Randle has the 3rd best defensive rating on the team and has the 3rd most defensive win shares... He's 4th in win shares and is leading the team in per36 pts

If they aren't winning, it's not Randle's fault.

What did JR get, anyway? $8mil a year? I'd rather spend it on him than KCP - yeah, I know, one year expiring/trade bait but still ... hell, I'd rather have Lopez back

You have weird thing for trying to justify losing a player that while dealing with plantar fasciitis is putting up 18 point and 7 rebounds in 24 minutes a game.

The Pelicans record is what it is because they've been dealing with injuries. When healthy that team has looked very good.

Randle is as flawed in a few ways as the young guys we still have. His moving on was more to do with fit and $$ as it was about any play on the court. I always felt he was a little overvalued here but he's not a scrub. if he were still here we'd not have PT for one of the other young guys so we had to choose and since it was his contract year and we want multiple max FA's it was circumstance that ruled the day. My biggest issue with him moving on was that we didn't do it at the deadline and get something in return.

I'm glad he's doing well. I did watch a half of the GS game he played. Not really anything new from him.... just a better situation.

Bucks putting the league on notice. They're on the verge of entering contender status.

Wolves went from “most promising young team” to a disaster pretty damn quickly.

I think Wolves did quite well considering the only other option was Josh Richardson and the curse of Dion Waiters. Might be interesting to see if KAT pulls his head out of his ass now.

Sixers pretty much closed their team improvement options by marrying themselves to Butler, Embiid's health and whatever Simmons and Flutz might end up being without reliable perimeter shots. They are in danger of being stuck where they were when they started the process with Hinkie as a mid tier playoff team.
