ferg starters are still +23pp100. so, if you're looking at lineup data i don't think it's too big a stretch to play him in those minutes. over the long run it's hard to see it outperforming abrines starters.

schroder starters has been abysmal though and more or less what i imagined westbrook-schroder lineups would look like.

And its so stupid, why wouldnt we try and see what would happen if Alex immediately started ?
Maybe he'd get in a better rhytm. Maybe Ferg would do better off the bench, with the opportunity to get the ball in his hands more often.
This aint gonna end well in next few weeks, and we all know it.

I know he is our next "Dre project", but we really cannot waste our chances in upcoming seasons like that ...

Give Alex what he deserves, let him operate in some pnrs with Adams, let him shoot early, let him dribble more with main guys from the getgo ...

I hope I am wrong about Terrance, but the Alex emergence this early could be our X factor if it proves that he found the balance to be our main 3&"D" threat.

I love Alex and would like to see him start, but don't sell Ferg short. He's significantly better defensively than Alex and Diallo. And he's not a total zero spotting up. No one could ever play the 'totally ignore him' defense like we see GSW do to Andre. Or if they did it wouldn't last long.

That significantly is a huge stretch, over both of those.
Stats cant say anything on D this early in the season, but with my eye test, everyone of those has their ups and downs. Id say Alex is best of those, his rotations are especially good this year.

And Diallos is just intimidating on D end I saw Holiday yesterday refused to attack Ham 1on1 on couple of occasions ...

Ferguson is just, consistant. He does not bring anything else in his game, period

Abrines-Patterson at +9.4 NetRtG in 86 minutes so far. Not too shabby.

Royce reporting a Target date as the Dallas game? That seems insanely fast, so assume Christmas after a setback.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Shambles

Seriously though, they better beat the Cavs (that's just embarrassing if they can't) and sitting vs Houston just means its a whatever game. Nobody in the west looks like they're a lock for the 4-8 seeds (or 3-8 really) and OKC just started to look pretty good. 6.4 net rating since he returned and the defense at 5th, offense at 13th.

When asked about Westbrook and his domineering personality, one general manager told Yahoo Sports: “Do you think you can win with James Harden? Did you believe you could win with Stephen Curry before he did it? We have to be careful with the labels. I’d rather have his talent on my team and work around the stubbornness and his flaws than not. You have to build a perfect team around him, though.”

He went on to make a football comparison, saying Westbrook is a lot like Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre.

“Favre would make the bonehead plays, but he did win a Super Bowl,” the GM said. “And guys will run through a wall for Westbrook, because they see him doing it.”

The Thunder have a LONG ways to go before they get there. Give it another 50 years and then you can break that out. Fans will be blinded by their fanaticism for a VERY long time before they wake up.

Am I smoking crack? We all saw him sprain his ankle.

Where are you getting this from?
