There have been at least seven teams monitoring the status of Terry Rozier this season waiting to see if the Boston Celtics might begin fielding trade calls for him.

Rozier will be a restricted free agent this offseason and Kyrie Irving plans to re-sign with the Celtics to remain their starting point guard. Rozier could command a contract in the $16 million to $20 million per year range.

The Phoenix Suns have been one of the more aggressive teams in pursuing Rozier.

I've been open to considering Rozier if he plays well this season, but he's playing like complete ass so far. The longer he plays like this the more his playoff run will look like a fluke. Last we need is another inconsistent and inefficient scorer who isn't really a playmaker. He needs to pick it up and show something.

I’d be interested to see what he can do as a starter and given the keys.

There's always guys that have a good playoff series and get a big contract based off of that. Henny fell for that with Bismack..

Dragic is 32 and looking for a championship on likely his last contract.

I agree Rubio is not a great spacer, but he's an excellent facilitator and I think he'll always find our young guys in their spots. I think his ability to do that would be tremendous in the growth of our young players and his defense is a huge positive.

Dragic would be a much better choice for our team because he brings a lot of what Rubio brings but also spaces the floor better and can play off the ball. He's 32, but if he's not looking to join a contender, I'd love to bring him here for a year or two, help get our young guys comfortable, and pass off the reigns or play alongside with our PG of the future.

And the infatuation with Rozier continues. The fact that players are notorious for looking better than they are playing in Bostons system, and that Boston isnt going out of their way to make him happy makes me think that he's just not that good. Dude is going to cost some dumb GM his job.

He's getting consistent minutes on a good team... I think he should play well against bench units if he's worth 16-20m.

Rozier needed to continue his play to start this season but he's looked bad. At this point i wonder how much worse he'd look out of boston's system as well. If they want to work some deal where we move vuc or another guy we aren't looking to keep anyway to give us a look at rozier before free agency i'd be listening but any picks or other assets and i hang up.

I'd rather roll the dice on John Wall than Rozier. At least with Wall you get a max callibre talent.
