I'm with you! The hard part is trying to make a guess at which one of these players is gonna breakout at the next level. It's way too early to make that judgement - you have to see how players respond to adversity as the scouting reports come out

First game of the season but Duke looks dominant. Teams will adjust, and come up with gameplans to slow this down, but it will be tough. Zion is looking like the NBA equivalent of Marshawn Lynch - who can just use his body to punish defenders over and over again, until they give up on defending his drives. Cam looks like a prototypical forward with handles. And RJ just has the mentality of someone who's looking to do damage.

Keldon Johnson didn't back down, but it's a long college season - defenses will adjust and eventually someone will figure out how to slow down Duke.

Didn't catch the game, but I'm watching some highlights and...oh my god. And we're probably not going to get any of them.

All facts bro, we won't get the 1st pick so we can't choose who we really want but we need to get into that top 5 so we can walk away with any 1 of these dudes. RJ and Zion was killing it out there ! And this was against a pretty good Calipari Kentucky team who's always good, they put everyone on notice. College ball might be more fun to watch then the NBA this year.

lol it would be a tragedy if the current team rankings of this team hold steady for the rest of the season, I would probably not only lose on my O/U bet but we'll end up with the 16th pick in the draft.

Lets pray that the next two games are the beginning of the tank.

Let's pray Crabbe, Dudley, & Caroll flip the switch and pump their trade value so we can flip them for a salary dump + another FRP at the deadline

Lets look at something that can fall to the teens guys. This guy is solid all-around. Moves very well, Not afraid of contact, great frame, quick for his size, polished skills.

As much as we love the team, I'm sure we can all be realistic and know that the chance of the Nets winning the NBA title this year are slim to none. So why should they try so hard to be mediocre? Spend this early part of the season continuing to develop Caris, Din, Allen, Musa, Joe...then fully embrace the tank. A high draft pick plus a talented core of young players should be enticing to potential Free Agents.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
