It always amazes me how Tatum gets iced out of this rotation with the 2nd unit. The offense should run through him or he at least needs to touch the ball ever possession.

Actually, it makes a lot of sense. They don't play well together. Everybody wants to be a star. Nobody wants to be a role player.

Possibly, they are in a bit of an awkward spot. It's difficult to both compete for a championship and raise your budding stars.

The young guys and Hayward all seem to be in a bit of a shooting slump.

Inside the NBA guys arguing Schroder vs. Rozier for title of best backup PG in the league, as if those two are the clear cut only 2 candidates worth mentioning.

Hasn’t Van Vleet been injured and not as good this season compared to last? Or did he have some great games that I missed?
VanVleet has not been the same player so far this season. He's had a few good games, but he's also been a bit trigger happy with some serious tunnel vision - which has resulted in him shooting below 40% from the field and below 30% on 3FGA. Hopefully it's just rust and soon he'll get back to how he was playing last season because he's actually been one of the few disappointing Raptors so far.

The Rockets are a train-wreck.

Shades of the 2015-2016 season.

Too many mouths to feed, so to speak? Sounds a lot like OKC to begin last year - your turn, my turn, his turn - some really stagnant offense because too many individual players are trying to get theirs. Thunder got out of their 8-12 start when Russ took over the offense and made PG and Melo play off of him.

Coincidentally, that was the season after Rockets lost to the Warriors in the WCF. Sound familiar?

Too familiar indeed.

Though I don't recall them making roster changes then as they did this season.

There's some pretty shining examples of the value of role players and fit in the NBA this season

There's only 1 contender(maybe 2).

And OKC aren't 1.

They traded a first round pick for Ty Lawson, then waived him late in the season.
