He seems like he's got a lot on his mind.
Last year, he was just a Rookie; who was Supersonic.

Now, he's second guessing himself.

for no reason tatum''s rushing his shot. really uncharacteristic from last years smooth flow, good thing his thirst for the rim wasn't lost in kobe's brainwashing-training sessions. one of these nights he's gonna put on a shooting clinic.

I don't think Hayward will have a big game personally, he'll be even more nervous and he's clearly not ready yet.

Classic Rozier/Brown/Tatum game I'm thinking... hopefully they get their groove going on offense with no Kyrie tonight.

Any concerns about Hayward long term from the team? He’s killing us right now, but gotta play him into shape.

My rule of thumb for what I think will happen: whatever will inspire the most annoying GB thread.

Best guess? We finally score above 120 and everyone looks greats. GB makes a thread on how we should trade Kyrie cuz he’s holding us back.

Noticed that on the last few threes he's taken, one he had a clear path to the basket even. Lowe had some interesting numbers on his Espn article, how he's up like 14% on his midrange shots this year and all on the expense from him attacking the basket. It's like he focused on adding a step back to his repertoire this summer when he should have just focused on rounding out his game off a god rookie season. Obviously he needs to stop with the mid range step backs, not take them totally out of his game, I don't see why they don't run that screen off the top of the key like they did with Bradley.

This is a pretty good guess, tbh. :D

Anyhow, Tatum goes for over 20. Brown goes for around 20. Morris for 15+. We win by 8-10.

Let's go C's!!!!

FROM far away Bulgaria!!!!!!
Good assessment:

Anyone know why the Jazz are 5-6? What's been their downfall???

Looking quickly at the stats it looks like Rubio is having a bad start. Then Ingles maybe is the only other one to blame.

Mitchell is having an okay efficiency wise season. Not sub 40% like Tatum or something so I don't think you expected much more from him. Gobert and Favors look like their usual steller self.

To me I think we should be starting Morris at this point. He's the only player other than Irving that actually has been making shots for the team.

That said with a Gobert/Favors frontcourt the classical reply would be a Horford/Baynes one. I'd still start Morris at SF without Irving. Tatum can take a seat young skywalker. Hopefully that might light a fire under his ass to try and drive to the rim again one of these days instead of settling for long contested 2s every chance he can and missing all of them.

I think we'll want one of Brown or Smart on the court every minute Mitchell is playing. Need to at least make him play PnR and not just have free reign offensively. Double off Rubio or Exum if they try to force a switch on Rozier one on one. Ingles is more than capable of beating a team but his stats suggest he hasn't been to start the year, kind of in a Tatum slump. Make him prove he can while we neutralize Mitchell on offense.

Personally expecting big games from Rozier, Tatum and Brown

Rubio is performing quite terribly, Mitchell hasnt taken a step forward and their defense is playing quite poorly [relatively speaking].

There are concerns but honestly, they need to play him into shape and for the team to play out the year healthy before assessing.

Unless a big name player goes up for trade, then I’m not sure even Hayward would be safe.

Celtics 7-4
Jazz 5-6

About 25 “Are the Celtics in trouble threads?” Haven’t seen a single thread about the Jazz sucking.
