He will be NASTY in Philly but this isn't the package I wanted. if true. Wish other teams stepped up, they could have used him.

Philly has 2nd round swap rights with Denver in 2022, I guess Wolves get that

Yo I never been so freaking mad at someone elses management. All that hassle the Wolves gave the Heat to get two role players and second rounder.

Covington was 8th in the league in RPM last year. He provides defense we desperately need, and is a career 39% three point shooter. He’s a great 3-and-D player, which we have needed for years,

Saric is a good player as well, with upside as a shooter.

This is a better package than the MIA and HOU offers, imho.

I think we made out pretty good all things considered. Covington and Saric give us a lot of roster flexibility to play big and small. Both can stretch the floor a little bit and open up driving lanes for Rose and Wiggins. They also replace some of the toughness we will be losing with Butler gone. I'm pleased.

Teague / Tyus
Wiggins / Rose
Covington / Okogie
Saric / Dieng
Towns

Well I mean the Heat wouldn't even give up one role player so...

If you want to blame management, blame Riley for trying to force MIN to eat Waiters three year deal.

Great move by the Sixers talent wise they are coming out huge. This puts them into legit contendership. I think a lot of teams will be kicking themselves they didnt put something together for Butler because he's that good. The trolling he and Embiid will do together will the stuff of legend. Butler makes out like a bandit here as he gets everything he wants including a great team.

Take as many lowly protected picks as we can get from HOU for Butler.
Fire Thibs. Hire a new GM and coach.
Deal KAT to the highest bidder.
Deal anything of value for bad contracts + first round picks.
Tank the remainder of the season with Wiggins as the tank commander.
Develop Okogie, Tyus and KBD.

Get top 5 picks in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Consolidate the combination of 1st round picks we got for our squad to move up in the draft.

I am sick of this mess of a team.

Why should the team develop Tyus? He’s not that good and if he weren’t from Minnesota the fans would have wanted him gone a long time ago

Lol thank you. He is a back up pg at best.
He had a chance to show something due to the injuries and he looked awful

We got raped, but I understand from a management perspective that a deal had to get done after our 4-9 start. But, we still got raped.

yeah, I don't know what people were expecting

Move Taj for a wing on a multi-year contract on a team that would prefer cap-space
Get those spacing lineups out there for KAT

This was the deal I preferred over the other reported deals. Wish we could have Lavigne and Lauri back though instead.
