Didn't get to really take a lot out of last night outside of the Kentucky/Duke game. Bol got into early foul trouble but showed pretty good feet last night, looked a bit out of control . Little for some reason didn't start and saw limited minutes, I didnt watch the game, just saw the boxscore. Same with Bassey, had a double double, not expecting a whole lot early on from the should be high school senior. I did watch the Mich st/Kansas game, still really high on Grimes possibly becoming a primary ball handler, he looked great last night. Lawson was so so, dont see him a good fit in Stevens system.

Little is probably not gonna start all season, Roy has done this with top recruits before when he has productive Seniors, and he isn't going to start only one big, happened to Marvin Williams, Ed Davis, John Henson and JMMcAdoo, not a surprise, he will still get 25minpg from the bench

if danny was locked on drafting zion, then i doubt yabusele's extension gets picked-up as they basically duplicate each-other..hmm all in with rj?

I really like Bassey with one of our later picks. If the Sac picks falls out of the Duke/Little range we should really look Simi S and Garland from Vandy..

I'm all in for Garland if he somehow lands to our Clips pic.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

Regression to the mean will be happening both ways soon. Clippers and grizz will get slightly worse in overall record, Kings will take a nose dive looking at what they have coming up, and teams like the Rockets/Lakers/Pelicans/Jazz and maybe Wolves will win a few more games.

The picks we end up with won't be a reflection of current team records. Now, the East only has 1 team out of wack from what they should be, the wizards. The west will come back soon.

I mean outside of Maye they have a pretty weak returning class, and they're staring a freshman in Colby White. I don't think any of those guys have the pedigree of Little, Jackson and Barnes are the only freshman I can remember that were top ten recruits like Little and both started for Williams. I'm just not going to get very hyped up seeing them play top teams if Little is playing twenty minutes and getting five shots, I doubt the win many games vs ranked opponents that way either.

The draft is looking pretty strong. Why were people saying it was a weak draft???

Oh i still think it's weak. I think it's very weak. But I think many including myself think it has a tremendous top 4, then falls off after that.

I know guys like Bol, Langford, Morant and others are going to get hyped up. But I don't think any of those guys would go top 10 in a solid draft.

But yes I definitely think if you end up with a top 4 pick, you should be very excited.

If you guys end up with the 2nd or 3rd pick. He is good enough to pair that pick with more picks or a good player to move up. This guy is special.

If we get 2-4 with the sac pick, its an ‘empty the warchest’ type of offer for 1— Jaylen, SAC, MEM and LAC

And I'd do that trade in a heartbeat. Zion is that good.

Marvin Williams was 7th by RSCI, Davis 9th, Henson 5th and McAdoo 6th, Little is 4th, very comparable all in all, all of those guys are front-court players, comparing Nas to Coby makes no sense, UNC has a weak backcourt and White was always going to start (what is the other option? fellow frosh Leaky Black? Woods? come on now), but Little is fighting for minutes with Cam Johnson who is a 5th year Senior and almost the de-facto PG of the team in half-court sets at times, and Maye who is a top5-10 player in college ball, obviously Roy could go small from the get-go with Maye at Center and sit Brooks, but it ain't surprising considering his history and what he likes to do (dominate the boards, pound people inside, run the floor) that he has opted to bring Little from the bench as a scoring reference instead

How is it a weak draft? it's loaded with wings, has some nice depth and intriguing offensive bigs, it's bad if you need a PG, other than a few guys (Garland is good but might be more in the Mike Bibby mold than the Trae Young one), the top4 is stupidly good too

I think it's good, depends on who ends up declaring like always though
