I thought that he could put up some good numbers doing that with Wall. I even expected him to catch some allys like Green did last night. I saw one highlight when Beal was doing a p&r with him but Howard slipped the pick instead of setting one. Is he normally doing this because that basically defeats the purpose

His screen setting is rubbish. The passing lanes aren't open enough because both opposing defenders are still in play.

With Gortat he would take a guy out of the play, and get fantastic wizardly assists from Wall. I fantasized about the same p'n'r action but this time with Dwight as a strong and consistent finisher. It has been an absolute let down so far and honestly, I think it spells doom for this experiment and perhaps this whole season.

I literally feel one thousand percent just like you but to me that should be a simple fix that comes down to coaching. Brooks has to demand that he really sets the screen. Howard is annoying. Dude has played with some of the best pure passers of his generation. Pnr masters and he refuses to run it. Him not setting the pick is just him refusing to run it. He just wants to slip it and post up. Does he realize that he may could average 6ppg more in his career if he were willing

Dwight right now is clearly not 100% healthy . I don't think it's that he's unwilling to do certain things, rather he's in pain and can't be as active as he would like .

Imo he's been playing to the best of his abilities and has been toughing it out despite playing in pain. He is the least of our problems.

He is the least of our problems but his #1 criticism his whole career is his unwillingness to play the PNR. Houston was going to be great last year regardless but don't tell me that it doesn't completely change everything if Capela refused to run the PNR properly. Wall has been good and would be way better rn if Howard sets the pick properly and no one would benefit more than Howard himself. He is the least of our problems but if he sets the pick properly then we are a much better team and offense

Still in Europe & unable to watch -- nice to see (from the box) that Jeff Green had a good game.

Edit: Rivers had a good game as well. Glad to see it.
