These guys will soon be in Iowa as "affiliate players". This is what they did last year to acquire the rights to Shawne Williams.

Traded JaKarr Sampson, Mike Amius (No. 38) to Windy City for Jaylen Johnson, Jarell Eddie.
Traded Daxter Miles Jr. (No. 11), 2019 2nd to Northern Arizona for Xavier Silas, Roddy Peters (No. 16).
Added Canyon Barry, Darius Johnson-Odom, William Lee and Jonathan Stark as affiliate players.

I think that’s mostly typical. NBA teams don’t keep top prospects in the G-league. And not for long if they do. It would be nice if we put more effort into finding hidden prospects though.
