If we draft around 10th, maybe Ja Morant.

What do you consider Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Isaac offensively?

Isaac IMO should be playing the 5. That's obviously not happening now that Bamba is here, but I have long suggested Isaac would be most effective in the modern NBA space and space small ball era as a stretch 5.

Gordon's a capable enough perimeter shooter.

I just don't really believe in Zion's jumper yet. I don't think he's a guy who will space the floor offensively, thus making him a center on the offensive end of the floor. I also think his athleticism advantage plays the best against bigs who are just going to be too slow to do anything with him.

A lacking jumper doesn't mean he can't be a super effective player anyway.

I mean there is a chance of Isaac still playing stretches of games as a stretch 5 like Draymond does down the road, but even before we drafted Bamba you had to have realized that that was years away from ever happening, right? Isaac can't even play a month of NBA basketball at SF without getting injured. His injury concerns may stop him from ever playing stretch 5 tbh. He is going to have to really bulk up and add to his body to even have a chance at that.

Zion is already so developed physically that he can come in the league and play stretch 5 immediately. I think he could be an absolute monster as a stretch 5 as well.

So sad and true. Might as well be looking in 6-13 range. This group will probably overdeliver, still miss the playoffs, and be a completely different roster next year ultimately resulting in nothing.

I applaud your optimism. You know we're resigning Vuc and Ross with our cap space.... right?

You might be the first and last person to call me optimistic. Yeah you are probably right. “Team friendly” deals right?

10 pts 10 asts for Grimes in Kansas' second game. Also 2-4 from three. He's now 8-14 from three so far this year.

The highly regarded wing who doesn't look great early on is Langford. He's just 1-7 from three and 6-14 from the FT line so far.

It's super early, but the three guys I've really liked the most so far...

Cam Reddish
Zion Williamson
Quentin Grimes

I really love Barrett's potential as an offensive talent, but right now he has just 1 steal and 0 blocks in two games. Plenty of time for him to turn it around, but low steal and block rates have shown to be a major red flag for past prospects.

Grimes is exactly what we need. He's gonna be a Top 5 player though and we're chasing the playoffs. I'm not putting myself through the misery of hoping for him any more.

Ja Morant had a pretty decent game. 26 pts, 11 ast. 2 of 6 from 3. ...but 7 TOs. I'm realigning my sights on him.

With the way the lotto odds are now, I'm not ruling anybody out, including the Duke kids.

Not thinking Grimes goes top 5 right now anyway.

I agree to an extent about the lottery odds but we at least gotta get in the bottom 5 to have a realistic shot. With the way this season is going I dont see that. But yea these new odds def throw a wrench in my usual tank attitude. I still wanna tank but trying to be the worst doesnt matter anymore.

Keep an eye on this kid. I think he could very much be in the mix for the Magic in the lottery.

A lot of intriguing wing players in this draft.

I could see 7 wings going in the top 15 potentially.

Porter or Langford would be good picks in Orlando’s range.
