Rivers is a better defender than I thought he was. I've been impressed by his effort and intensity on that end of the court.

He was ok tonight, but he's been bad on defense for the entire season thus far. His offense has been worse then Meeks surprisingly.

The best thing that could happen to these guys is rivers and keef running into each on a screen and getting ankle sprains, sit out extended time and by that point it become horribly obvious neither of them belong in rotation for a would playoff aspiring team. Cause Brooks' ain't about to use any common sense. :noway:  :nonono: :banghead:

Brooks is basically saying I’m not running anything for you, get your points in isolation or kick outs.

No wonder he loves Green and Rivers

Otto was awful defensively tonight . He didn't deserve any more than 20 minutes.

I thought everyone who got minutes tonight was really good defensively , except for Dwight (still seems stiff from the injury) and Otto . That's how this team has to win, play lineups with the guys who are defending their matchups well, and just shuffle them around with one of John or Brad on the floor consistently.

I thought the entire team was poor defensively (well maybe not Sato but he was in so briefly)
until the point Brooks called the TO when ORL went up 10 with ~ 5 min to play in the 3rd Q.
To that point, they had already given up 75 points, numerous drives to the rim and numerous
clean looks to shooters.

Rivers has been by far the worst Wizard thus far excluding small sample sizes of one game here or there... The other part is he has taken minutes from Porter & Sato (and Brown) which has cost us games thus far and will cost us games in the future... turrible
