Well Luka had a very bad night, happens to the best of them ... But what's important is that he basically hit a dagger 3 that pretty much sealed the W for the Mavs.

WCJ also played some impressive D.

SGA 3rd straight great game as starter. 18/5/3/2 steals/1block and really good D on Klay.

This guy is a future star.

I know its early, and I know PER is a flawed stat, but..

Ayton - 19.9
Bagley - 15.6
Luka - 15.7
JJJ - 16.1
Trae - 15.6
Bamba - 16.8
WCJ - 18.6

When was the last time that each of the first 7 picks seemed to be a hit?

Harry Giles looks to have some skills, but he needs to start eating dessert so he can gain 30 pounds.

Wendell Carter Jr has been great so far, fun to watch. Don't know if he's better than Ayton but he has a more complete game on both ends of the floor

5 of the 7 players (6 if you include Luka as a "PF") are bigs. PER tends to overrate bigs a bit. And it's only been 12-14 games. Good start from the class for sure but too soon to crown them all just yet. Though I realize this thread is the place for doing exactly that

He gets tossed around like a rag doll down low. I really hope we take advantage of the G League for him this year to let him get some game experience to build his confidence back up and then this summer his goal should be to pack on some weight and strength.

Considering his knee situations, would it even be advisable for him to pack on much more weight though?

Shaun Livingston compared SGA to Sam Cassell (the guy who mentored Livingston and now SGA). He said SGA has a chance to be far better than he ever was.

I never thought of that comparison, but Sam Cassell with defense is a great comparison for SGA.

I feel confident saying he'll have a far better career than Ayton. I'm not presenting this as a fact, it's just my prediction.

But will SGA bust out the big balls dance when he hits a clutch shot?

Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Didn't watch the game but what happened to Trae? 4 points from 2/12 shooting?

Dude is shooting 28% from 3 on 7 attempts a game and he had the gall to showboat and point to the floor after hitting a deep 3 last game.

Him and Doncic have a private competition going on this week, who will shoot the ball the worst :D

It would be nice to see a lineup like this in near future. I think they fit very nicely:

SGA
Luka
Mikal
JJJ
WCJ
