Melo to Philly confirmed

I don't get it. I know Melo has been bad for Houston, but they LITERALLY don't have enough players to field an actual rotation if they waive Carmelo. Just pull him out of games if his shot is off. If they had acquired Butler, then Carmelo is expendable. They already took MCW out of the lineup. Does D'Antoni think that team can survive an NBA season with a 7 man rotation ?

I think there might be stuff going on behind the scenes. Locker room drama and such.

You are probably right, but this could be quite the fall for Carmelo if it is true. He had been bad, but Houston could at least use another body for the regular season.

CP3 the player is awesome. CP3 the teammate not so much. Also if I were Harden or CP3, I’d be beyond pissed at Morey/ownership.

They went the cheap route last summer, when they should’ve been all in.

Been watching old highlight videos, has the game of basketball ever come easier for anyone than it did for Larry bird? The guy could do seemingly anything he wanted on the court, to the point you can actually SEE him deciding 'huh, that'd be cool, I should try that' in the middle of a play then executing flawlessly.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Doncic is really good. He’s kind of got a dad bod right know. If he’ll work on transforming his body then I think he can be great. It was interesting watching him take that ball into traffic and finish the layup on the fast break by himself.

I think about Presti’s draft strategy often. Getting a player like Diallo or Mitchell Robinson in the second round makes a lot of sense. In regard to our first round picks, I wish we had a few less athletes and a few more players skilled in fundamentals. Then again, I guess Sabonis was that guy.

We need to get Melo back. He took our 3pt shooting with him.

I don't know any two fan bases that hate on each other more than Celtics and Raptors, but it is the most glorious thing.

Interesting note: They have never faced off in the playoffs.

When they do face off, this site will crash.

This guy has some serious issues. If he doesn’t figure it out he’s going to be an all time bust.

Interesting story about teams getting into commercial real estate to generate additional revenue around arenas. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/25218998/the-nba-real-estate-company-now

Just one thing, what if there's a real estate bust? Seems like this could go south in a hurry.

It's wild because, this isn't Anthony Bennett where he just came out of nowhere to be No. 1 overall. This guy was projected as one of the best prospects of that draft class for several years leading up to that draft. It's wild that he just can't get right mentally. He looks like a guy that should have been taken in the late 20s/early 30s at this point (athlete that can't shoot).

Interesting theory on what could be going on physically:

The 2017 nba draft top ten looks much more underwhelming than most expected. Tatum, Fox and Lauri look good. Even picks ten through twenty are underwhelming with the exception of Dononvan Mitchell. The talent in 19-30 is pretty solid.

Somebody tell Draymond he ain't Kobe, they don't love him like that.

Yeah, but if it comes down to KD v Draymond the warriors will let green walk so fast he won't have time to write his players only article.
