CM Punk is the reason I'm a pro wrestling fan. Phil Brooks the person appears to be a garbage human being.

I cannot properly put into words how much this man annoys me. This movie looks bad enough but Rock had to double down and book himself in the film to shout his catch phrases and look like the coolest guy in the universe, per usual. It's amazing to me that this goof gets to do his Tony Robbins impression and make his bad movies and the world isn't sick of it yet. Yeah, he's a hunk. So what. Hunks suck sometimes, and the Rock really **** sucks.

I'm the most positive person on this board about the WWE product. Easily. You only show up when you want to whine about something.

Big difference.

I dunno, i could maybe lay claim to that title as well. I'm relatively positive on WWE I feel like. Got us 3... Degeneration X? The NWO?? I'd liken us more to the filthy animals really.

I'd say it's a close race between Stan and I as far as being nice to the WWE. I usually try to enjoy the shows for what they're worth and give every PPV, Raw/SDL a chance.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

Saw an article where Shawn Michaels explained why he came back for Crown Jewel and this image came immediately to mind:

I thought he made a great point. He could have made more money for a singles match at wrestlemania. He chose the tag match because he could rely on the other people in the match - guys he's worked with in the past.

Made sense from his perspective. From my perspective I was interested in an hbk return match... But not in this vein and in this setting. So much so that I didn't even watch it and its been eight years I've wanted to see it... Had he had a singles match against say. Rollins or ziggler, that would have been can't miss tv imo. This was barely noteworthy and that doesn't seem right given the circumstances

Michaels vs Ziggler would be effing golden. Can easily headline Mania with no complaints

I'm not so sure that's true, as I read he made at least two million from the match at Crown Jewel, and possibly as much as five.

That performing at Crown Jewel was about anything other than a suitcase of money? Absolutely.

If he did indeed make somewhere between two and five million for Crown Jewel, then no, I don't think he'd get more than that for a singles match at 'Mania. Maybe he'd get something similar, but more? Meh. I doubt it. I think he'd get around a million for a singles match at 'Mania, as that seems pretty standard for big names from that era.

Yeah, if that Crown Jewel figure is true, theres 100% no chance HBK could make that at WM.

According to a few google articles he made three million for Crown Jewel, so right in the middle of my 2-5 figure. And yeah, I think that, tops, he could maybe get two million for a singles match at 'Mania, and I think even that is a stretch.

I wonder if people wouldn't be as mad about that HbK return if it wasn't at the already controversial Saudi show.
