In LeBron's 6th year he was taking almost 5 3s a game and made 34.4% of them. Giannis is taking 2.2 3s a game and making 7.7% of them.

Well, I didn't get a chance to read the rest of the thread yet, but has anyone pointed out how Giannis' refusal to shoot really slowed down the Bucks' offense tonight?

So glad he's our coach. I love that this guy is leading Giannis. We can have a dynasty with these two, which is good for my tattoo.

Right...because prime LeBron is a GOAT-level player, and Giannis isn't remotely close to that.

Nah, it really isn't.

No. Despite everything, elite teams win that at home. Ugly loss. bull.

Nah, even elite teams lose these games occasionally and the Grizz aren't a bad team. Move on and hopefully there aren't too many others with this energy.

First game back after the trip was a factor tonight. Guys were definitely dragging out there until the fourth. Friday should be better in the energy department. Playing a really bad team that barely plays defense will certainly help too.

Convinced?

By this response? No.

How can he commit a turnover if he's taking a shot?

This response isn't any better. I guess our choices for Giannis are outside shot or TO?

There's some legit points of discussion from this highly controversial game that I'd like to discuss with the good people of realgm but can't on account of the usual 8 page tangent on whether we're allowed to criticize giannis or not.

Apparently I am "calling out people" with the posts below.

Post that started this:

The discussion that followed.

Great, then we agree.

My mistake, you didn't call anyone out directly. But if you want to pretend that post wasn't a reference to people who are critical of Giannis' shooting, ok.

It was, but for reference, I was having in my mind myself as well when I posted the following.

TD75 wrote:Giannis' jumpshot will be referenced in eternity in every loss, no matter if it was a factor or not.

(I mentioned several times that Giannis needs to take the shots from the 3 point line that are given to him, even if I think that at least for now, his percentages will be bad).

You have to agree though (at least to a point) that Giannis' shot is going to be a topic of discussion until it is resolved.

I thought my discussion with Bizzaro was fine, hence my confusion afterwards :)

We lost because we executed poorly down the stretch. When we had the lead we let them back in the game with too many poor shots and costly turnovers. Pretty simple. Its like we got too cocky.

Giannis is taller and has bigger wingspan. Your turn now.

Nah, it really isn't.

Lebron wasnt in Prime with Cavs, not even close. For the love of god stop it.

I showed you Giannis shooting splits vs Lebron last game, since you're a mod use the search function to find it.

Lebron and Giannis had a lot of similarities in midrange shooting ,they both are/were bad, it doesnt matter who sucks more they both sucks its wide known fact that Lebron wasnt a good shooter till his Miami days.Lebron was under 50% fg despite being a monster on the paint.

That and the fact that Giannis had an idiot of a coach that forbid him to shoot.
