Conley hit some ridiculous shots to close out the game, our D was pretty good

If there is any silver lining it's that I'm sure that this loss pisses the Bucks off enough to ensure that they absolutely destroy Jabari and the Bulls. 8-)

He's only a semi-useful player when going all out with the energy. And that type of play is only sustainable in five minute bursts.

That said maybe we can use one five-minute burst of it each half. Have to see what Bud thinks of it going forward.

Giannis back above 60TS%. Feel free to chill out and compare him to your favourite old school frontcourt all time guy. Or anyone else really, I imagine whatever his end of season numbers are nobody else would have done them. Guessing Bird will be closest followed by Kareem.

My disgust has nothing to do with Giannis, it starts from your mainstream sports media where they always talk about basketball like it's a 1-1 game, because anything else is too difficult for the attention span of the average fan. And this is a huge injustice for a beautiful, strategic and complex game. AFAIC this is where this obsession with criticising your best player comes from (and letting all your other players and coach get away with murder). I'm talking about the average fan of course, I hold this board to a higher standard.

Greek sports media are even worse by the way, but in different ways.

On another topic, JJJ is my pick for best player from this draft. Doncic will get his ROTY but in 5 years JJJ will be a top-10 player.

Bottomline: Bucks need to learn to win the "low scoring" games, meaning the ones they score less than 120 :P

Can't always drop 120+ on every team like they don't exist on court, especially on good defensive ones like Boston and Memphis. I don't care what Defensive Rating says, when stops were needed in those type of games they just weren't there. Memphis scoring 116 in FISERV? Boston hitting an all-time record in threes? This **** needs to be addressed.

I totally understand how everyone feels. It was a must win. And we all need to freak out. Go Bucks.

Maybe it's frustrating that the best couple of players your team has had in the last 20 years are international? Not sure what old mate was going for trying to offend as many posters as possible, but generally always shows up to criticize or give back handed compliments. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

I’d classify it as a bad loss, I just don’t think Memphis is a very good team.

Grizzlies with a healthy Conley and Gasol are a good, not great team. The Bucks had an off night and the Grizzlies made a lot of tough shots. Refs didnt help. Carry on and beat the **** out of the Bulls please

Brick festival, ref surgury, we lose the game against a >500. west team by just 3 points and a 16 pages civil war breaks lose about Giannis' jumpshot and Lebron's prime season.

I wonder what will happen if we allow a circus like Orlando Magic make a 20p comeback win or if we lose against a Jason Kidd's team with a buzzer beater at home.

Giannis will probably be traded and Magic Giannison will travel to Australia to hunt aussies with a rifle screaming "I CAN SHOOT THOUGH!" .

Yep.

The problem is that he has nights when his FT shooting seems good and then nights when his FT shooting seems bad, mixed with each other.

Until he shows some consistent results, I expect his FT shooting to be an issue.

Quoting this to suggest that one of you guys should consider changing his username. I'd never tell anyone what to do, but I think I've confused the two of you before more than once. Lots of Ts Ds and 2-digit numbers.

DingleJerry has been taken but I think RoadSoda is still available. I'm pretty sure Glenn is in charge. :D

I just want to take a second to point out that Patty is averaging 1.3 offensive boards per game, which is ridiculous.
