Kinda wish the Suns would have been able to grab SGA with one of the their picks

SGA
Booker
Ariza
Warren
Ayton

With another top pick coming up in this draft would have been one hell of a team. Even the Suns wouldn't be able to mess up with that much talent

Him and Doncic have a private competition going on this week, who will shoot the ball the worst :D

It has been a pretty bad week for most the highly-drafted rookies.

is it me or does Sexton have a long release. or maybe a high release. It looks smooth regardless.

If you looks only stats is just solid for 3 quarters, but man almost everything he did, was incredibly stylish and fun. He just has something more in his game.

One of the knocks on Sexton was his supposed lack of shooting. So far he's a 93% FT shooter and 50% from 3 (although he shoots less than 2 game at this point). His overall form looks pretty smooth to me...maybe not textbook but works for him. Like most rookie guards has to work on the T/O's but overall I've been impressed with Sexton. He's only 19 so definitely has a few things to work out but once he learns to run an NBA team I think he's going to be pretty good. He's fun to watch with his speed too. At such a young age he can score in a variety of ways so that is a very promising sign. Young Bull just needs to keep putting in the work which I think he will do.

Sextons shot looks good just like I thought it would despite his bizarre off hand. The kid just has a clean follow through. I'm not a fan of his shot selection though. He really subsists on a steady diet of midrange jumpers. Maybe a guard his size needs it though so I can't fault him too much. Especially because I think he projects to be a solid midrange shooter.

Doncic is the next all time great imo. Everything about him screams a new age Larry Bird to me. I've already adopted him as my second favorite player after LeBron now lol.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

JJJ with 13 in 16 minutes in a win against the Bucks. Few boards an assist and 2 steals.
Solid d on Giannis. Dude is gonna be a big time winning player

Young second bad game in a row with 6/5/2. Did he hit the wall already?

3rd game of a west coast trip in the mile high city. Take a look at how some of our vets played in that game. Actually, don't do that. I don't want you to be blinded by the ineptitude.

Wishing Josh Okogie had a spot to play for the Wolves. He played less than 20 minutes last game and I see that continuing with Wiggins and Covington getting 38+ minutes a night. The dude looks to be the real deal though just won't have much of a chance to put up some numbers.

I have the feeling that the bar is set to high for some rookies. Did someone really expected that this rookies will have 82 double digit games in the season? Especially for players like Young, who are mostly creating for themselves, is normal to have some off nights. One thing is to have 15 points if your shots are 80% assisted and totally other, if your shots are 30% assisted. Young has basically started to strong for his own good. The only thing that’s worrisome, is his 3 points shooting.

Got a question...

Are there any 2nd rounders getting rotation time and looking decent out there?

Mitchell Robinson is the only stand out so far. Guys like Bruce Brown and Hamidou Diallo have been getting minutes, but aren't really lighting the world on fire.
