Re: Around The NBA X
The more I hear about it though, the less I think it matters... They'd be crazy to trade KD now... Only way that even makes sense is if KD basically refused to play anymore this season unless traded... Otherwise, they're better off just keeping him.
Any assets they acquired might affect they're ability to retain Klay and Dray anyway... It's just kind of a non-starter... And this is the kind of thing that ends up galvanizing championship teams and making them better.
Sometimes it gets boring being clearly the best team... You need **** like this to light a fire in you again...
Time will tell... If they're weak, it'll erode them... If they're strong, they're going to get angry and start playing with an edge again... If that happens, everyone else is probably screwed...
A week ago, I thought we had a good chance at KD this summer... Now, I'm starting to think he's a virtual lock to stay in Golden State.
I mean, at the end of the day, who the **** cares what Draymond Green thinks? If it was Curry, well then maybe it'd be more serious.

I always thought it was cooler to perform like a rock star before giving yourself the right to dress like one. I don’t blame him — in his 20s, in LA, NBA first team rookie, LBJ etc, the ladies...
But play some effing D.

Both Wall and Beal available in D.C. Your thoughts?

Never been a Wall fan, so that's an emphatic NO from me. I do like Beal though, but I don't see how we would get the salaries to work without compromising all the depth/youth on this team.

Also can't do Beal without losing any chance at the max guys

Beal for Ball, Beasley, and KCP would work.
That would mean the Lakers could start Ingram at PG and then start Beal, Lebron, Kuz, and Javale. Tyson, Lance, Hart, and Rondo off the bench. I would try to do it if I'm the Lakers and can off load Ball.
I think Miami is going to be the one to go and get Wall

again, we can't sign kawhi or KD if we blow most of our 2019 cap space on beal

I personally don't think Kawhi is coming here. Now the KD part I understand, but I would not worry about that if I'm the Lakers. They can give Beal away if they need to to someone like Atlanta or anywhere else if they chose to create the space. I advocated for trading for Jimmy Butler too because you had something proven as the backup plan

You would not have given up Ball for Jimmy Butler? I'm not saying 2 or three of them, but just one. I would give up a Ball/KCP/Beas/pcik package for Butler, Kemba, or Beal without blinking

No, I wouldn't.
After we cap ourselves out, then sure, but not before

Re: Around The NBA X
celtics have some issues and part of that is redundancy. I'm guessing they Danny Ainge tries to put together a big trade for AD and then if that fails looks to the Wizards.

His agent has nothing to do with it. Magic and Pelinka did not want to pay him.

He was a RFA. We could've matched that offer. If you think he'll pick up his PO, think again.

Ok so you just proved that Magic and Pelinka did not want to match the offer.
