Jonathan Isaac is our "Unicorn"

I looked for an Isaac thread, but several pages back didn't find one and I know we have a Bamba one, so I wanted to create this to collect ongoing observations of another of our core pieces.

First full disclosure: I'm one of the people who was unhappy when we took Isaac as I wanted DSJr due to my belief we need potential scorers more than length and potential. Still think we need some young ones to add to our core.

That said, I attended last night's Raptors game (my third of the season) and had good lower bowl seats on the side across from the Magic bench. You know how people say when you see Giannis or Durant in person you get a new appreciation of their otherworldly talent? Last night I got that vibe from Isaac despite overall average stats. When he is out there on the floor in space his size, fluidity, balance and activity just make him look like he is like one of the guys in a Matrix movie. Who knows if he will be able to stay healthy or if he will ever put it all together, but if he does we have our unicorn (e.g., Giannis, Porzingis, Embiid) who can be the kind of matchup nightmare the truly great teams have. It just doesn't come across on video - I hope all of you get a chance to see him play in person one day soon.

I'm not sure Bamba has quite that "it" factor yet, he is even more raw and doesn't seem to have Isaac's motor, but he needs reps and to build good habits as well before we can judge.

I hope that we someday get to see what Isaac can become - to me he tops our untouchable list in trades. Keep this guy.

I don't think you looked very hard, you only had to go back one page to find it. Page 2.

Damn, I missed it (was the bottom thread on the page) - really didn't want to be the guy who created an unnecessary new thread. I seriously went back like 4 pages. The design is so busy on the page hard to pick them out.

Perfectly fine if mods want to merge this into the existing thread.
