He's playing more under control this year now that he isn't being asked to make up for the losses of Kyrie and Hayward.

Far better offensively than Jaylen or Rozier this season, IMO. Those guys make so many boneheaded plays, it's incredible.

I mean, those guys have a negative IQ as far as I'm concerned. Smart knows what to do he just can't execute at a high level.

Why is Barea always a pain against the Celtics?

He is a pain against every team. I remember how much he frustrated the Lakers players in 2011 when the Mavs swept them. Baynum actually tried to kill him.

It is a concern he is in this form early this season. He usually plays like this towards the end of January but not this early.

Rozier suffers from the irrational confidence that Smart used to have. Catch and shoot open 3s? Cool, but the guys kills waaaaay too much clock, and too many possessions, calling his own number with that little jitterbug dribble to nowhere. It's like Tatum or Morris if they couldn't hit shots.
