This Wall? At the famous Studio 23 in Miami.

That picture is at least 2-3 years old.

Edit to add: Actually it was apparently Jan. 1, 2018. My bad.

The Zards played and beat the Knicks 2 days later (Jan. 3). Wallstar (playing on a bum knee) had 25 pts. (on 9 of 18 shooting) and 9 assists in that game...and was a +27.

That picture just confirms he’s not too bright, he’s reaching 30. I’ll be happy to see him go if at all possible, it’s time.

Bad win. The only thing that can save us is if Pels keep losing and get desperate enough to trade for Wall!

Though it was great to see Otto being a scoring machine and I love Bryant's energy. Oubre played better than usual. Rivers playing more than Sato was justified for once. But come on Brooks, Beal played 45 mins, give Brown a chance.

And yeah, Wall/Beal were 8/17 from the FT line. Damn!

I’m taking my annual treck to Cap One tomorrow to take my dad to see the Wiz. For the first time I didn’t get tix in advance.

Any advice?

Can we walk up and get cheap lower bowl tix?

Got a huge break that AD didn't play.

Disagree. Dumping Brooks mid season may feel good, but I doubt we get a better one or a better system in season. Also does no help to Teds wallet.
The best trades/value wont happen until next summer. Wall has a kicker and Otto is building back his value. Beal is fine, but we need more suitors. Next summer there will be a lot of teams with a max spot debating on blowing on players like KCP...

This team should just keep playing like they are with KO starting, Sato getting 20+ MPG, and Bryant getting burn. See where we are around Xmas.
Im still holding out hope of a Oubre, Rivers, Kieff trade to Kings for Shump, Ferrell, 2nd (Or Jackson).

Rockets game should be fairly well attended, so may be tough to beat stubhub, etc. If want cheap lower bowl may have to wait until after Q1 for scalpers to lower prices. Just my experience, others may be smoother than me with 3 kids dragging along in getting deals.

Like our win over the Clips that was a very fun game to watch.

Otto had a great game -- one of his best as a Wizard. Wall/Beal didn't help much, but Rivers had one of his best games as a pro, & both Kieff & Oubre played well too.

OTOH, we're 5.5 games behind the Memphis Grizzlies. :)

Whatever....

Whenever it happens, this team needs a complete rebuild. We are not a contending team, & we won't be next year either when we run into a salary tsunami.

As to your dream trade, it would be nice -- but it's hard to see their motivation to take on an extra $10m of expiring salary, & make themselves worse in a season when finally they are somewhat competitive, in order to have a shot at Oubre whom we will not be able to re-sign anyway.

Thomas Bryant is putting up 18-10-3-2 per 36 on .600 TS% and a 20 PER.

And it looks like he plays with energy and enthusiasm - something this team often lacks. Not to mention, it seems that he's a pretty good passer who keeps the turnovers low. And there's reason to believe he'll start making 3's at some point - considering he made 38% as a college sophomore. Putting him in the starting lineup and using Morris off the bench seems like a win/win.

He's also the rotation player with the second-highest on/off differential on the team (just barely behind Porter). That's what impresses me most. I knew he could rebound and score garbage points, but I wasn't expecting him to be competent enough defensively to stay on the floor.

I kinda hope that Dwight Howard stays out for a few more games so Bryant can build on this.

Espn posted RPM numbers. Markieff Morris is 84th out of 91 total PFs in RPM, behind Carmelo Anthony. Austin Rivers is 85th out of 91 point guards. Troy Brown jr ranks higher than Kelly Oubre. Mahinmi ranks higher than Howard and Bryant at 24th out of all centers.

Morris plays 25 minutes a night, Rivers plays 22. 47 minutes a night going to two of the worst players in the NBA that both belong in China.

Playing Sato and Brown Jr all of Rivers and Morris’ minutes so far, could actually be the difference between a 7-12 record and a 12-7 record.

What? No Wiz Rox game thread?

Are we (or those of us who actually know how to set one up) too engrossed in Howard's alleged Tranny lust, catfishing, cat juggling, etc. to start a thread?
