it's neat and it works very well in a small country like Japan. a much bigger place like US the flight is faster and more practical in most cases but that's up for debate. I think it's also very popular in Europe?

the closest shinkansen experience for me here was Amtrak DC to NY. not sure if Amtrak is as fast as shinkansen (doubt it), but it sure is comfortable and smoove. Florida has Brightline, which is in service in Miami and it's planned to connect to Orlando as well bish
